ASMu questions

After you have all been so kind to sell me on ASMu and make me feel so much better about staying there I have a couple of questions for you.

I was looking through photos of the rooms and I don't see a single one with a closet, I only see clothes pegs. Please tell me there are closets in the rooms. Please!

Also I am wondering about the bus route. From the maps I have seen it looks like ASMu is at the end of the All-Stars resorts. Do the buses pick up first or last from here?

There is a place to hang clothes right next to the vanity. It's not an enclosed closet, but it does have a rack and hangers and all that stuff. There's also an ironing board and an iron (just call Mousekeeping if your room is missing one). Also, Music is in the middle of Sports and Movies, so we're pretty much always the 2nd to be picked up and the 2nd to be dropped off. Music is our very favorite place to stay....and we stay there every year so feel free to ask more questions

Is the bus stop covered or out in the blazing sun ?

Being august when we go, I've heard that the bus stop at pop isn't covered or shaded. Is this true with teh ASMu resort ?

I know the bus stops at ASMo weren't covered, and I'm pretty sure it's the same at the other 2 All Stars, unfortunately.

Thanks Snow White! All I need is a rod and some hangers so that works perfectly for me!

Now what about a hairdryer? Do they have them in the rooms or do I need to bring my own?

Hairdryers can be requested no problem. The bus stop is next to a covered overhang but the actual wait is in the sun...or rain...Stayed at all the value resorts and they are all great.

Does Music have a little take out grocery story type area like Pop has?

All the All Stars and POP are kinda set up the same with a small assortment of grocery type items at the back by the regsiter. A little pricey but a decent assortment.

I'm glad that will work for you! Trust me, All Star Music is like a hidden gem......it's our all-time favorite, that's for sure and we've stayed at everything from the Contemporary (love the monorail, hated the food court and the noise) to Animal Kingdom Lodge (our least favorite resort--had horrible bus service) to the Grand Floridian (fake snobbery galore--not for us) to Port Orleans Riverside (we enjoy it, but not as much as ASMu). We've been everywhere, but we always come back to All Star Music. It's price it's an added bonus!

Hmm, doesn't look like many hangers...might have to pack some (I'm weird, I like all my clothes to be hung up).

The rooms have a few hangers but I always bring a lot more. I like to hang everything up first thing in hopes that I won't have to iron so much.
