ASMU poolside parties

Does anyone know if ASMU is still showing movies and having events at the resort around the pool?

Last I heard it was a pilot thing that was extended for a bit, but we'll be there in May and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was still going on.

When we were there in Oct. they had different activities everyday. They had dance parties, bingo, scavenger hunts and movies at night. I believe the activities would start before dark each day.(can't remember exact time) We loved staying at ASmusic and I think my children enjoyed the pool as much as the parks!

We were just there Sun. night and they showed Meet The Robinsons on a blow up screen out by the pool.Started at 7pm.

Are guests from other resorts allowed to participate? I'll be staying at ASMovies and would love to be able to go, but I'm not sure if that's frowned upon (like using other resorts' pools). Thanks.

We went in January for the karaoke, but they only had a few songs to choose from. It seemed to be poorly organized. We sang a song, and hung around for a little bit, but not too much was happening, so we left. We were staying at ASMo. They didn't check resort id, and seemed to be ok with anyone joining in. Maybe they were just relieved to have some who didn't take themnselves too seriously. The lyrics were on the big blow up screen.

This sounds great!! I'm going to be staying at ASMu April 7th til the 9th and I might go to some of these activities.
