My mom and I stayed for the first time at the ASMov back in February 2002 and loved it - but we are two adults! We found everything very convienient and would recommend it highly as a nice place to stay...that said.....

My DH and I will be traveling next February with another couple who has a toddler (will be just turning 2yrs old) - for those that have young children is the ASMov our best bet or is there a better choice?

(lol...can you tell I have no kids?!?!?)

It's an excellent choice for a toddler. The theme should be very exciting for a two year old or a 40 year old for that matter....Bob

I would say ASMovies is definitely your best bet. We have been there with our kids twice. The theming is perfect for kids. My kids loved the large icons and Andy's room. They also have the playground between the Toy story buildings and the pool.

I would suggest requesting either the Toy Story buildings or the Dalmations building. Close to everything. Not too far a walk, to pool, food court and playground for a little toddler. We stayed twice by Toy story buildings and found it the perfect spot.

Hope this helps.

Make sure they bring a light weight stroller iwth a shade that folds up easily. See the infants/toddlers sectio on wdwig.com for tips.

We stayed on the first floor down past Buzz when we were there - it was great! Its a fun hotel - and the food court was nice too - a good selection and they really moved people through there quickly.
