ASMo Vs. POP

My DH and I are staying at all star movies in november and part of me wants to switch to pop, but I just can't decide. What do you all think? From pics I've seen I think I would like ASMo, but i'm not sure where I want to stay.

I think your stay will be extremely similar no matter which of the two you pick. Choose based on whimsy. Lots of choices to stress over - this isn't one of them.

I am in the same situation. We stayed at POP for our first trip. Now that we are planning a short trip this December, I thought I would give ASMo a chance. This will help with two things...First, it will help keep my DD, who will be 5, entertained being at a different resort. Second, when we go back in 2008 for a longer trip, if we decide to stay at another value resort, I will know which one we will want to stay at. My DH is not into sports and I think the music is alittle much for our DD. But we enjoyed POP soooo much I am a little concerned about changing.

Pop is a little cheaper in taxes because it's in a different county, if that makes a difference. I would like to know which value resort has the shortest bus wait. I am in the same boat and trying to decide between Pop and either ASMo or ASMu. Since Pop seems to be very popular, I'm wondering if the transporation to the parks is a nightmare. It seems like most posts I've read show a lot of people prefer Pop when compared to the All Stars.

Would love to know too what people think of the Pop bus transportation. I was thinking ASMovies but now maybe not????

I think the all stars share a bus but pop gets it's own? Is that right?

Comparing transportation on our trips for POP and All-Star Sports, I'd have to say that the buses were about the same. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus. The ONLY negative I can say is that some times the All Stars share buses, so it just might make you wait on the bus for an extra few minutes (which isn't a big deal if you're seated). On a positive though, if you're in the Mighty Ducks building at ASMo you can take the buses at the ASMu resort which are closer than your own (unless you needed to go thru the main ASMo building for some reason). And yes, POP does have its own bus.
Other tidbits: there are big movie icons at both resorts, plus a CM told me these 2 resorts fill up first and ASMo would probably have more kiddies than any of the other values. I think you'll be pleased with either one...have a good time!
