ASMo Sept 23rd-30th, who else will be there then?

Hello all!

I'll be taking my son down to WDW for his 5th b-day.
We'll be staying at the All Star Movies Resort Sept 23-30 2006.
Just curious who all else will be there then as well.
Maybe we can all get together and take over the pool!

We'll be there! My daughter (8) and I will be staying at ASMo 9/27-9/30. I'll have green Mickey tags on our bags, door & window, so look for us!

Me & my extended family (niece, her hubby & 9 yo son, my sister & nephew) will be at the ASMO from the 24th-30th. This will be my little great nephew's 1st trip! We're all SOOOO excited!!!

Go to Home Depot in the paint dept at the Disney Colors display. All the paint sample cards are Mickey heads. Get the green ones.

We'll be there from the 24th through the 30th . It will be me, DH, DD(3) and DS(19months). I'll go to home depot and get my Mickey's.

Well, we willbe at the ASMU the 24th-30th. A Magical Gathering of 11! We have stayed at ASMO twice before and loved it. See you on the bus!

emh1129: The crowds should be pretty light. The weather will more than likely be hot and sticky.

I've heard that September is a less traveled time of year. Never been during free dining though, have you? We'll just have to get in the pools and cool off!!!

Mom 46 taking son age 7 to Disneyworld first time for both of us.


His name is Matthew he will be the really really white kid in the pool with a shaved blonde head. In between eating of course! He is very friendly at pools and will make friends with anyone, he has only much older sisters and he is lonely for kids to play with!

9/25 Arriving midday trying to find something for that night will head straight to MGM

9/26 Kona Cafe 7:10 after day at MK and Crystal Palace lunch 11:45

9/27 Garden Grill 5:50 Epcot day

9/28 Whispering Canyon 6:40 after AK day

9/29 50's Primetime Cafe 5:50 MK closes at 6:00 for big Mickey party SO MK in morning MGM at night because everyone will be at Mickey's party

9/30 checking out day may have morning to do stuff


All this is subject to change but I feel I have to have a plan!
Dinners are fairly early because my son and I will be ready to head back and lounge by the pool at least ONE OR TWO nights!

What buildings are you all wanting to stay in? We got a "perfered room" whatever that means. I just requested Fantasia 5. We'll see.

My trip planner says stay far away from MGM on Monday so I am revamping the plan, she was just there last week in the heat of summer and said that it REALLY works to stay out of parks on the day they have EXTRA MAGIC HOURS and go to another one and MGM has EMH on Monday night.


So I am revamping my plans a bit.


We are going to ask for TOY STORY, FANTASIA, 101 DALMATIONS, in that order, TOY STORY is near the bus stop and food, farther from the pool and the noise.

We did get preferred rooms because that all they had left.


ONE THING- I have never done this before, my son is only seven, HOW DO YOU GET THEM OUT OF SCHOOL? I mean what do you say? Hey I am going on vacation and I would like my child with me? I am very nervous about that.

Add another to the list! We will be there 9/23-10/1. It will be me, DH, DD-9 and DS-6. Planning to attend MNSSHP on 9/29. CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

We will be there 9/23-10/2 staying at Pop did consider Fantasia building at all stars movies because fantasia is DH favorite. We will be at AK on tues. just as you are per your trip report. We will probably be on the same bus to AKL for 6:30 ADR's at Jinko's instead of Boma's. Will be traveling with DH, DD 3, DD 5 and my sister. Two rooms at Pop for almost the cost of one at a moderate and then DH can get some real sleep. My sister hasn't been to disney in 34 years. I can't wait to see her expression at some of the wonders of disney. It will have been almost 2 years since DH and kids and I have been unbelievable as it is they still remember things from the previous trips. DD who is 5 now got to dance with Beast and be in the show at Lion King. It's no wonder she remembers. I love sharing disney with my family it truely is a joy.
