can anyone give me some info on what to expect? lots of people? what are the rooms like? clean? mousekeeping? pools? anyone who has stayed here I would love to hear from you. What is the best building if you like quiet? Which is the better of the two pools stuff like that...

Helping to bump this up! After watching the original 101 Dalmations movie, my DS and I decided we want to stay at ASMO next year. So ASMO it is! Another question to add: Will the ASMO resort also be scheduled for room updates similiar to ASMU and Sports?

There are several threads with info about ASMo already that you might want to look for. I've stayed there 6 times. The theme is nice for kids and any other Disney movie fans. I travel with just my son, but I think the rooms are adequate for 4 people (especially if 2 of them are kids). My rooms have always been clean. The Fantasia pool is really cool - it has a Sorcerer Mickey fountain and it was recently renovated (late 2006, I think). The quietest building is Love Bug, since it's away from the pools and food court. The back side of Fantasia (away from the pool) is also quiet. I've never had a problem with noise in any of the buildings, but I'm sure it happens sometimes. The food court is really convenient for grabbing a quick meal and they have a good selection. We spend most of our time in the parks so the All Stars or POP are perfect for us. I've always had a great time staying at ASMo. Hope you enjoy your stay.

We have stayed at ASMo and loved it. We stayed in the Toy Story section. It was quiet, nice, and very clean. Mousekeeping left us towel animals. Of the 2 values we have stayed this is our favorite. The food court was nice and quiet. Transportation was efficient. No problems. Would definetly stay again.

we just returned. DS is a Toy story fan. We requested Buzz in original ressie and called 5 days ahead to confirm. At check in I was given 101 Dalmations...after about 15 min. I was given a "woody room" The room is small and there were several groups there although they were well behaved. I didn't find it to be very clean...actually found 2 inhalers and lots of crackers behind nightstand! The Mickey pool is nice and DS liked the little kids section. We walked around the rooms but never used the Mighty Ducks pool. Not really thrilled w/ lunch and dinner selections. Kids menu items include a drink and not much accomodations are made....I don't eat meat so when I wanted penne pasta only I was charged about $13!!!! for a plate of pasta???? I was told it includes meatballs and salad! Finally another CM came over and changed the price...so if you don't get bacon or sausage w/ pancakes, check and make sure they change the price accordingly. My DS and DH liked the arcade. you can charge a card for kids to play and there are tix to be won to cash in and "buy" things. Buses were pretty good. Sometimes we shared and if we did we were the last off and the last on so sometimes the buses showed up already packed!!! usually another bus follows. We at most waited about 15 min and we there over Easter so I think that is good. The store was nicely stocked. I did laundry there and it took 3 times to get clothes dry. All in all we weren't in the room all that much and for the money it was a good "value".
