Both DD and SIL use C-pap machines at night. Is there a stand between the beds with an outlet behind it so they can use their machines to sleep. I know this sounds like a stupid question, but based on what I've read about value resorts, they don't really come with anything more than a bed and she's worried about using their machines. If there's a clock on the stand, they can unplug it and use that outlet. We have always stayed at FW and didn't have to worry about anything because we had our "home away from home" in tow. 
But yes, the clock and the lamp on the nightstand can be unplugged if necessary; and they can bring extension cords if they're genuinely concerned.
