I asked this on the Facebook group, You Might Be a Disney Addict If..., but I wanted to come here and confirm.
The last trip my husband and I made to Walt Disney World was in January 2014, when MyMagic+ was still being rolled out. We stayed on property, and booked our FP+ reservations 60 days in advance.
However, as a result of a last minute miracle, my brother and sister-in-law (Orlando locals and annual passholders) were able to accompany us one day. We went to the kiosks in the park, and booked them FP+ reservations AROUND the same time we had them. Like, if our Test Track reservation was from 1:00PM-2:00PM, and they could only book 1:30PM-2:30PM, we ALL went to Test Track between 1:30PM and 2:00PM. Some of the reservations only overlapped by like 10 minutes, and one of our reservations they couldn't even get, forcing us to separate.
We have a trip planned for September 20th-27th, and our 60 day mark is on July 22nd. My brother and sister in law are both listed in our 'Friends and Family' on MDE. They will be able to accompany us on September 26th for the day. My question is, on MY 60 day mark, can I make us ALL FP+ reservations if they are listed in my 'Friends and Family' but NOT part of my vacation package? Or will I only be able to book my husband and I at 60, and hope what I picked is available for my brother to pick at 30?
I know it's all very complicated. But someone on the Disney Addict page said they were able to successfully book FP+ reservations 60 days out, even though as a cast member, she was only supposed to be allowed to book them 7 days out. BUT because someone in her 'Friends and Family' had a package booked, she was allowed to book FP+ reservations 60 days out.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
