asking MS to change which points are used by a ressie?

here's another scenario i was thinking about:
if you own points at 2 different resorts... let's say BWV and OKW.

you want to reserve Thanksgiving 2004 at BWV.
at the 11mo window, you call and reserve your nights at BWV.

but Easter 2005 you want to stay at BWV also, so you think you'll need that 11mo window, and you'll need those BWV points you just used up to make your Thanksgiving ressies.

at the 7mo window, can you call and ask MS to switch your Thanksgiving ressie to use your OKW points? thus freeing up your BWV points for you to make 11mo BWV ressies for Easter 2005?

The rule is that you can do this ONLY if there is still availiblity at the resort you have a reservation with. In your senario, there would have to be availiblity at the BVW over Thanksgiving for the size unit you need. Otherwise, you would have to go on the waitlist behind all the others waiting to use your OKW points.
