Asking for Sparkling Water at MDR

I have asked for sparkling water at MDR in the recent past (~6 months ago) and was told we could not buy a bottle of sparkling water. How can we bring/set-up a a package for sparkling water for MDR?

I know we can do it at Remy and Palo and we do there. I’m asking specifically for MDR.

Thanks

It's supposed to be available in the MDRs , Lounges and Bars. If not in the MDR I would stop at a bar get a bottle, and then take it into the MDR.

Beverages that incur an additional charge:
Alcoholic beverages, smoothies, specialty coffees and bottled water served during meals

Which ship? Might it depend on where the assistant server has to go to get the drinks. I know when I order draft beer using my mug card in the MDR on the Magic or Wonder, the selection seems to depend on which nearby bar is providing the mug and draft. On the Wish, there seemed to be a full service bar within the MDR itself. I don’t know the situation on the Dream or Fantasy. Although we’ve sailed each a few times, I didn’t notice the particulars for drink service.

I have requested and received (free) sparkling water from the soft drink dispensers on occasion, but have only ordered San Pellegrino in Palo. I’ll try ordering it in an MDR on the WBTA this fall to see if it’s available there. That’ll be on the Dream.

That's odd. My middle child loves San Pelligrino. They only had the large bottles available on the Fantasy, but our waiter bottled it up for him and brought it out each night like an expensive wine! They clearly can save it to preserve the carbonation, too.
We are about to be on the Fantasy so I’m happy to hear this!

I always ask for Soda water in the MDR and don't have an issue. The one time I forgot and asked for sparkling water they wanted to charge me. At Palo, they will give us San Pelligrino (with an upcharge).
I find the Palo upcharge for San Pellegrino to be very reasonable. I think it was $4 plus the 18% autogratuity for a 750 ml bottle. I routinely pay $5 (plus gratuity) at our favorite local family-run Italian restaurant for that size bottle and $4 at a local chain restaurant for a 500 ml bottle. I assume the same pricing might apply in the MDRs as at the onboard bars or in Palo. Also, I find that the soda water from the drink dispensers in the MDRs is as good as the store-label sparkling water we buy at our local grocery, so I generally save the San Pellegrino for the upcharge restaurants.

We had (purchased) sparking water (bottle) every night at dinner. They even kept the unfinished bottle for the next night for us. This was the Dream last month.
Hoping for the same on the Fantasy! Did you ask the server or go to Guest Services? Sorry if this is a dumb question - I just want to make it the easiest for our serving team.

We love ordering off the sparkling water menu at Remy and Palo. We like San Pellegrino just fine, but have others we prefer. However, I totally understand that San Pellegrino will be the default for MDR and we are okay with that! :)

Yes, you may bring on an unlimited amount of non-alcoholic beverages, but you must carry them on yourself rather than leaving them with
It's a lot easier in a piece of luggage 😂...as long as I wheel it on?
