You can ask and the answer will be “no”.

No. You can ask to see if they have any DVC swag like maybe a bag or something, but otherwise no.

And before you sign on the dotted line.....understand that THIS is the way DVC works. You will get what you are contracted to get - and whatever perks are available. DVC is not a place for promotions or free dining. It isn't a place for pixie dust free upgrades. That "you won't get extra when negotiating" is worse once they have you in their clutches with a big investment.

That said, its been a good VALUE for us and we've been content with our membership, but have realistic expectations about what "membership" means. One thing membership means is you see behind the curtain int "Disney as a business" a lot more. Don't snort pixie dust before signing the paperwork and sending it back in.

You might be able to get a welcome home stay if you’re new to DVC. It’s not free but they may be able to help you get a hard to find reservation (using your new points). We got water bottles, cooling towels, magnets, and certificates when we bought direct a few years back but no idea what the current “swag” is.
