Hi
We are renting points again this year from a friend. He booked us a boardwalk studio preferred view. I thought I told him boardwalk view but he actually garden/ pool view. I would really like a boardwalk view but he's been so great about everything I don't want to bother him again. I would prefer not to be staring at the scary clown pool... Lol. Do I have any chance asking at check in for a boardwalk view? Let me also say we are staying at a popular time, the first week of F&W?
TIA

My guess is that getting a BW view as a walk up will be pretty difficult. There are a lot of great garden view rooms that don't have a clown view. Try asking for a non clown view at check in - you might be surprised at how nice your view is. Good luck!

Boardwalk view is a separate booking catagory maybe ask your friend to wait list you for it....who knows it may come through.....I agree with the above poster getting it at check in is probably not going to happen

I think the section that faces the lawn that is near the boardwalk is call the village green, or something like that. I think that would be a good request if you didn't want to face the pool. But, like the other posters, I don't think a bw view is likely to come through at check in, especially since you're there at a popular time. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy our home resort...we love it there, with or without a great view.

Request a village green view, you will have a partial boardwalk view. It's very unlikely you will get a full boardwalk view, they get booked up early, especially during Food & Wine. Your friend could waitlist it, although now it's probably too late to have a chance.

Thanks guys..that's kinda what I figured. This is our first time staying at BWV and I have no idea of the layout of the resort except that the villas are on the side closer to the Swan/Dolphin. Stayed at BCV last yr and loved the area in general. I know we are lucky to even get a room at BWV at that time of year so whatever we get will be fine but I would much prefer a view of the boardwalk.
So if I don't want a view of the pool, request the village green area? Any other suggestions on where would be a good location. I'm not particulary worried about distance to anywhere so that's not a priority. The only request we currently have on the reservation is upper floor.

The choices for pool/garden view are main pool, quiet pool, Swan/Dolphin at the end, village green (for studios only).

Ask for a view of the quiet pool. It is usually nice and quiet back there, and it is closer if you walk to HS.

Hi guys,
I asked my friend to put a request on for village green area. Thanks for all your help!!!
