Asking for a little prayer

I know that there is power in prayer, so I am asking if you will take some time to say a prayer, or think some good thoughts. My nephew left this morning for his third tour of duty in Iraq. He is a Marine. He has added onto his enlistment because the tour takes him past his commitment, but he would have needed to go early with a group that he was not familiar with if he he did not.

Anyway, please pray for his safety as well as the safe return home for the rest of our men and women who serve in the armed forces. I know that my sister will not sleep a full night until he returns, and that she joins so many others who are praying for the safe return of their beloved sons and daughters, spouses, parents, and beloved nephews and nieces. Thank you so much.

Thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts. He works on Cobras and Hueys, and last time one of his crews crashed. He felt terrible, and thought that he needed to contribute more, so he trained to fly with his choppers, the huey's I think. Anyway, his Mom had told me that he was just flying to service them, but my DD told me that he was a door gunner. I hope that she misunderstood, but I am usually the one with the facts backwards.
