well... today my boss asked me to resign...

things haven't been good at work for a while... i've had some personal stuff going on and it's affected my work... plus i don't get on with the boss...

anyways... got hauled in for a meeting... they say it's not really working out and i can hand in my notice today and they'll pay me for the rest of the year, or wait to get sacked in a few weeks...

so... handed in my resignation and left...

feel a bit crappy. but gonna ring the temping agency and get some temp work...

actually.. if i'm temping AND getting a salary i might be able to pay off some debts... lol

urgh... roll on 8th Dec!

:grouphug: Oh Becks, I'm so sorry to hear your bad news :wizard: I'm sending some Pixie Dust and hopefully you will find a better job soon

sorry to hear your boss asked you to resign. one door closes and a BETTER ONE OPENS.................

I am sure something good will come of this.
Sorry to hear this though.

Keep your chin up, there's always something better out there. :sunny:

So sorry to hear your news:guilty:

Temping can be a great way to get some control over your working life again - I hope you find something good very soon.
I had a bad day at work today also. A Headteacher at a School shouting down the phone at me:sad: made me feel very low.

Becks I haven't had time to say yet but your post about getting photos into signatures helped me - I did it and if I can anyone can! Thanks so much for that.

I'm going to have a glass or two of wine tonight and cuddle DH and the cats - how are you thinking of cheering yourself up?

well... can't really do ANYTHING to cheer myself up.. no cash! get paid at midnight... and don't have a DH to pay for anything... blah...

tomorrow i think i'm gonna meet my bestest bud in town and do some (very light) shopping...

I am sorry, Becks! To lose a job, especially in such a way, shakes one's feelings for sure. I agree with the above poster who said that when one door closes a better one opens. I have seen this again and again with jobs, including my own.

:grouphug: Keep your chin up there's probably a much better job just around the corner. Sending you :wizard: for luck

i'm really sorry to hear that....
hopefully this will turn out for the best.....sometimes that happens....you end up in a better situation than the one you were let go from....

So sorry Becks but you've still got DLP to look forward to and Christmas plus a brand new job very soon!!! Keep your chin up!!!

Hi Becks

I'm sure you'll be more appreciated somewhere better and that's why this has happened. Enjoy the countdown to your holiday and Christmas and a better job/course in the new year. :grouphug:
