Asked many times before but...

we are going to WDW in a month and I am a Mypoints member. When you do the clickthru to disneystore.com, it does NOT say 'gift cards purchases do not earn points' or anything like that.

Anybody know? I'm thinking of trying it anyway, coz we ARE going and it would be just as easy to use a disneycard as a credit card, imo.

Any help is appreciated.

I do not know the answer to your question but anytime I had a question I just sent and email. They have always answered in 2-3 days. Good luck finding the answer.

I have purchased disney gift cards thru mypoints. It was fine, got my points for purchase.

that's exactly what I mean. I have done it now so we shall see. Generally, if gift cards are NOT eligible for points, there will be a disclaimer when you clickthru. There is no such disclaimer clicking thru to disneystore.com. I ordered $1500 worth of gift cards...i figure worst case scenario is I don't get the points and I still have the gift cards for my next trip PLUS I still get my FF miles from American.

I too am a mypoint person but I have emailed mypoints about getting point when buying stabucks gift cards. They told me there are no points earned when you buy gc. Not sure if it was just a starbucks thing?

Please let us know what happens.
