Ask a Webmaster- here's a chance to ask anything you've been wondering about!

disneyaggie - I was wondering when you would show up . Sounds like we might be in for a heck of a meet one of these days if all our special guests show up :lmao:.

Why do I not have any cute little titles under my name like everyone else? I want something cute too! I feel so left out...........:sad1:

Hey  !! No whining allowed by those with scrolling or animated tags ;) :teeth:.

That was something silly we did on a day where several of us were really bored... It started with a snarky remark and then snowballed (doesn't so much start and end that way?)

OK....let me give this a shot.....your wish is my command.

Cute is relative.

Is this now a PMS clique thread? My peeps might get after me if it is. :lmao:

I never even noticed the PMS clique thread before someone in this thread brought it up :confused3  :duck:. We Texans are an inclusive bunch :grouphug:.

Are you SURE he was panting?

If your dog eats the same thing mine likes to eat in the backyard sometimes, it actually makes sense that his breath smells like that... :scared:

He does enjoy dining at The Cat Box Cafe :crazy2: I wonder if there's something you can feed your cat that will make it not such a tasty delicacy for your dog??? :sad2:

I know -- looks like we will have to reserve the whole restaurant! Not that's a Dis Meet! Whohoo!

There is some stuff you can sprinkle on your dog's food so that the, um, later byproducts of digestion  will be unattractive for them. However, I found that the side effects were much more disgusting (think silent but VERY deadly :scared: ) than the snacking problem.

My MIL's dog likes to eat at that cafe. Only at her own cat's though. When at my place my cat won't let her. Guess he's even territorial about that. :scared: :rotfl:

Another legitimate question:

Does WMAlex have a job outside of what he does for the DIS? He does seem to have to spend a lot of time taking care of things and seems to be around whenever there are problems--even at odd hours. I would think that would be hard to do if he also had to maintain another job unless they are very understanding.

(Not to mention I would think he would be hard to employ since he really sounds like Elmer Fudd, doesn't own a watch that works, and his other main talent is translating things into Swedish Chef. . . :tilt:)

Yep, he has a real job outside of this, and yes, he's probably *really* hard to work with. :rotfl2:

And Kathy, where were you last night when I was getting into trouble with Alex and Tag Fairy? I needed back up!

Looks like you were doing fine! :)

To the other Texas Paige..........baby, PMSers are not a clique. Just a bunch of people who enjoy each other. They are quite inclusive of anyone who cares to come around. I have thought of making them honorary Texans. ;)

To WMK, do you like public school teachers? You know there are many threads about those who do wrong, and I agree with the vents in many of those instances, but some posters who follow them around seem to denigrate all public school teachers. I am one (a teacher, not a denigrator), so I kind of wondered where you stand in that camp. ;)

Kathy says:

I think that our public school teachers are among the most underappreciated and undercompensated of all professionals! They deal with our kids, their parents, school administration, laws and regulations from the state, and try to squeeze in a little learning and character development between all the red tape.

My DS is in 8th grade this year, and we've been blessed with many wonderful teachers who have helped shape the young man he has become. There have been a couple who maybe weren't as great as all the others, but I love that he's been influenced by many different teaching styles and many different sets of values.

Thank you for helping us teach our kids. What grade do you work with?

WMAlex longs for the good old days when "If the teacher calls your dead, doesn't matter if your right or wrong" as opposed to all the parents that now get lawyers because poor Muffy was traumitized

How many Webmasters and moderators are there?

Kathy says:

Hmmmm... I listed all the Webmasters in this post: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=20665666&postcount=384

There are a LOT of mods. You can see their names beside the forum listing on the DISboards main page, www.disboards.com.

Why is my DD8 having so much anger and emotional moments?

Good luck with that. I hear it ends around age 19. :thumbsup2

Why does DD13 have to have such an attitude?

Hormones. Try earplugs (for you, not her.)

Any say I can tell before I say something to my DD's what kind of reaction they are going to have? Are they going to be in a good mood or a bad mood?

Yep, they'll be in a good mood or a bad mood. :rotfl:

If you figure this one out, let me know so I can use it with DS. :)
