Aside from CRT and Crystal Palace...

DH and I really enjoy Columbia Harbor House. The food is a nice alternative to burgers and fries, the atmosphere is nice, and its really super-duper close to the Haunted Mansion :goodvibes

Not IN Magic Kingdom, but very easily accessible, are 'Ohana and Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. Both offer great food and ambience, and a nice break from the park, just minutes away by monorail or boat.

I love Cosmic Ray's, though even I can't explain why since I just get a cheeseburger there :confused3 Maybe it's the band :lmao:

But I also had to have an ADR for dinner at LTT for our upcoming trip, because even without the characters, I like the colonial atmosphere and enjoy the 'Thanksgiving'-type food served family style. I may be in the minority there though. Most seem to favor lunch.

We really like Tony's. We had one of the best meals there last fall. It was one of those rare times where everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their meals :rotfl:. It is on the schedule for our next trip!

Thanks, y'all!

I have 'Ohana and Kona our our list of ADRs, but I was really wanting something in Magic Kingdom so we didn't have to leave the park.

I think I've decided to use this as a lunch spot, and I've narrowed it down to:

Plaza
Tony's
Liberty Tree Tavern

What are your thoughts? Any better ideas? I like the idea of ADRs for the simple reason that I can schedule the rest stops for my (will be) 6 year old. My inlaws will never slow down and stop for lunch - or they'll stop late and mess up my timing for evening ADRs if I don't have a firm reservation. :)

is nothing special to dine in but the sandwiches are always solid and an ice cream dessert is refreshing in the middle of summer.

LTT is better in my opinion for lunch than dinner. Dinner can be fine but it's like something I can at any number of places at home. And they took away the characers without reducing the price.

My wife and I went to Tony's a number of years ago and it really didn't stand out for us. We haven't been back. I'm sure the restaurant has changed since then I just don't know how.

I love LTT but I've only been for lunch. Its a must do every trip. Their food is very good: pot roast & I liked their pasta dish until they took it off the menu. The salad is good too.

Well for QS it's a toss up between Columbia Harbor House, and Cosmic Rays.

CHH has fish, which I like, plus it has the upstairs quiet area, if you need a break from the barely organized chaos of the MK.

Cosmic Rays has some of the best selection for a QS. While I typically get the Bacon Double, I like having so many options. Sonny's routine never changes, but it's fun. This place is usually a madhouse, and almost always full, so "caveat emptor".

For TS, we enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern. The dinner character meal buffet was a good feed, and had the characters in colonial outfits. Sadly, it is no longer a character meal, but the food is still good.

Our kids are a little older for it, but the crystal palace buffet is good too.

LTT for lunch is the way to go. Lots of choices and all very good - although the turkey/dressing is my favorite.

For TS restaurants we really enjoy Tony's Town Square. We are also excited to try out LTT for lunch. For CS restaurants we bounce between CHH and PB.

For TS besides Crystal Palace, we enjoy Tony's. Haven't tried LTT for lunch yet though (only been for dinner), but it sounds great from all of the positive reviews it got on the Dis.
