Ashleigh's WISH Journal: Getting into Pre-Baby Shape

So I have been doing Weight Watchers since about 6 weeks after Colby was born and I have lost all my baby weight, but I am completely out of shape. I need to start working out in order to get my body back in shape. Before I got pregnant, I was running regularly and had thouht about doing the WDW 1/2 Marathon, but got pregnant before I could follow though. With the new year comming, I have decided I need to get back to running regularly with a goal to do either the WDW 1/2 or the Princess 1/2 next year (2011).

So basically my goals are to continue loosing weight with WW and get my behind in gear and start running again. When I started running before, I did the Couch to 5K and found that to be a great program to get running. I think I will start with that again! :blush:
 
Welcome! I'm new to the WISH journals although not new to DIS and I'm already finding this very helpful. The support is great! Sounds like you have a good plan too. :thumbsup2
 
I love to know how the Couch to 5K goes for you. I keep meaning to try it, but I never do.
 
So I had my Weight Watchers meeting yesterday and I was not expecting much. My goal before the holidays was to get through them without gaining more than 3lbs. Surprise, surprise...I lost .8 :yay:! I was super excited! :woohoo:

This weekend my husband is supposed to get a treadmill from his grandfather so I can start running. The weather here has been terrible...basically it has snowed everyday since New Years and even before that...so I have not been motivated at all to go out and walk/run. :rolleyes1

I hope everyone is staying warm this weekend!
 

I'm trying to stay warm here, which is ironic since I'm in FL (it's in the 40s today...ugh).

It's great to have a treadmill...having a way to exercise at home makes it hard to make excuses! :thumbsup2
 
I finally got my treadmill!:yay: This morning I started couch to 5K. It went pretty well, but I do prefer running outside. Seeing as we have about 3 feet of snow, however, it is not too easy to find a good route outside. :confused3
 
At my weigh in last night I was down another 2lbs! :cool1: I worked really hard this week, tracking carefully and starting the C25K. If I keep it up and lose another 2lbs this week my total will be 35 pounds!:banana: That is my goal for this week.
