Is it really as bad as the trip advisor reviews???

We were planning on staying here the night before our Eurostar but after reading the reviews I'm a bit worried!!

I can deal with poor deco etc but I need a clean bed

on tripadvisor i always just look for the reviews from families - and then take them with a very large pinch of salt! i stayed at luton travelodge a couple of weeks ago, and according to tripadvisor, only about 25% of visitors would recommend it - however i had a perfectly fine room and bathroom, everything was clean and in working order .

The £9 sale starts on Thursday and hoping to get a cheap night there. It's only for a night - whats the worst that can happen?? I'll be too excited about DLP to care about the hotel lol

Plus it means I won't have to wake up at 3am on my Birthday for a long journey down to Ashford!

We stayed there last month before our trip to DLP and it was a great little hotel. Just don't eat at the nearby Franky and Bennies - awful service and food

have stayed there about 5 times, the rooms are very basic but have always been clean.

If I had to pay the full rate of £50+, I dont think it would be value for money but at £9, £19 or £29 then it services its purpose

We stayed there last year - no problems at all. When we booked they were doing a deal where you could get a meal included at a cheap price so we ate there as well, and it was very nice

We stayed there before our last visit without any issues at all.

We stayed there last year and it was fine.
We are staying there before and after our visit to DLP next month.

We stayed there for an over night last year and it was as good as any tavel lodge. Also breakfast was good, enough to fill up on to last with only a snack til dinner time in Disneyland

We're looking to go back again in Feb.....will be on 1st thing for the sale on thurs!! x
