We managed to make Bahama Breeze last night - hooray!!! I had several Bahamaritas - lol!!!!!!!
Woke a bit later this morning and missed breakfast, so on the way to Animal Kingdom we stopped off at IHOP.
It was a strange day weather wise today. We'd had a storm during the night, so the ground was still wet. It was cloudy and dull but really warm and humid, as you will see from my hair (it didn't stay straight!!!).
Finally arrived at Animal Kingdom around 10am and we parked in Unicorn 28. Before we headed into the park, we saw Governor Ratcliffe and stopped for a pic. DH wanted me to start singing 'Dig and Dig and Diggggg.....' from Fantasmic but I just booed. He didn't take this well and refused to look at the camera - lol!!
The park was fairly quiet and no real queues. Expedition Everest was 10 mins, as was Dinosaur. Kilimanjaro Safari was 5 mins walk on, as was Primeval Whirl and Tough to be a bug.
We then caught the 'Flights of Wonder' bird show, DH got picked out for the owl flying towards the stage, and he got a certificate as a souvenir.
We had tried to see the 11:30 Finding Nemo show but the show was cancelled due to technical difficulties but they managed to sort it for the 3:15 show. This really is a great show and we both agree that this is far better than the Lion King show now (sorry Lion King fans). Some good pics & vids from the show below.

The black monkeys(?) were active today and it was even more special due to the fact that one had a baby with her. It was really cute and mum was trying to encourage it to have a swing but it wasn't having any of it!!
We travelled over to Rafiki's Planet Watch and were treated to something we have been looking for for the last 5 years. Jiminy Cricket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The vets had been treating a lion in the morning so was a bit gutted we had missed this.
We then had a 'Long Island Iced Tea' each whilst watching the amazing African acrobats do there show.
We had lunch at the new Yack & Yeti and this was really nice - a nice change to a hot dog or burger.
We left the park at closing and headed over to downtown Disney, stopping at Hess to grab some indigestion tablets for me. We went in Disney Quest and blasted some people on Buzz Lightyear AstroBlaster (my fav) and then designed a fear factor 5 roller-coaster. My indigestion was playing up so we came back to the room to chill for a while before heading over to Bahama Breeze. However, there was a 45 min wait for a table and the bar was really busy, so we ate at Ponderosa and just had a beer in the room.
DH is busy packing whilst I finish the report as we have a change of hotel tomorrow.
Tomorrow - EPCOT.
