We checked out of the Ramada at 11:00 and headed over to I-drive.
We drove to the Quality Inn Plaza to see if we could check in early so not to leave the cases in the car at Seaworld. We have never encountered any problems doing this in the last 5 years of visiting Orlando.
After speaking to the attitude check in woman (I had to walk off) who told us the hotel was full and there would be no rooms available until after 3pm, they found a room that was the only room available (this is a BIG hotel) in Block A.
We headed to the room and the room may as well have been on I4. It was the last room next to I4 and was really noisy. NO WAY!! So back to check in and we left our luggage at the business centre and told them we would check in again later on!!!
We stopped off at IHOP for some breakfast/lunch. DH had the breakfast sampler and I had the Colorado omelette.
After being fed and watered, we arrived at Seaworld and the park was busy but not packed. We fed the stingrays first and then headed over to Blue Horizons for the dolphin show, stopping off at Journey to Atlantis to squirt some people.
As Blue Horizons finished, the Sea-lion show was due to start and even though DH moaned that he knows it word for word, he was dragged in, although bought a couple of buds to soften the blow - lol!!! As said before, I LOVE the pirate pre-show and could watch him all day. The show was full and DH stopped moaning as they had added a couple of different tricks/jokes, etc.
We left the show and walked through the penguins and then headed to Kraken. 5 minute wait even for the back row and we re-rode straight away thanks to our Platinum pass privileges.
Whilst we were on Kraken, we noticed the Sky Tower was working. Of the 9 times we have been to Orlando, the Sky Tower has never been working. I hadn't brought DH's camera as I didn't think it would be working today as it was a bit windy so you can imagine the grief I got!!! Unfortunately, my camera doesn't have the same zoom but we got a couple of good pics.
As we walked off the Sky Tower, we noticed a Pets Ahoy show was due to start so decided to go in and watch before heading back to the hotel to check in.
We have been given a room back in Block A but this time overlooking the pool and away from I4. The rooms are smaller than the Ramada but again clean and OK for sleeping in.
Great location and we had a walk up to a restaurant that no one will guess which one?????!!!!!! Before we arrived at the mystery restaurant, we popped into TGI Fridays for a couple of Long Island Iced Teas. We left TGI's and arrived at BAHAMA BREEZE - told you that you wouldn't guess.
Had a couple of drinks(!!) and then we headed back to the room for some sleep.
Tomorrow - Islands of Adventure.
