As it was MLK Day here in America, we decided to have a chill/shopping day today.
We had a lie in and left the room at 12:00!!!! It was a gorgeous day today, the sun was out and it was nice and warm.
I had bought DH a ride along at the Richard Petty Speedway for Christmas and we decided to do this first before we hit the shops.
It wasn't busy here at all really and DH was out in his NASCAR after about 30 mins. He said it was fast and really enjoyed it. We decided to buy the DVD which takes 6-8 weeks to be delivered. We passed on the photo as DH said it wasn't one of his best poses - lol!!!!!
Just a note, the parking lots for both Magic Kingdom and Epcot looked FULL FULL FULL!
We arrived at Orlando Premium Outlets and exchanged our Brits Guide voucher for a coupon book. DH grabbed some Bourbon Chicken and I had a Philly Steak Sandwich.
I bought a couple of Adidas T-shirts, an Adidas jacket, a puma jacket and a FCUK jacket. DH bought an Adidas t-shirt and sock's, a Puma t-shirt and socks and a Calvin Klein jacket and wallet. I avoided the Guess shop in case they recognised me from earlier in the week - lol!!!
After the shops, we headed back to the room but couldn't pass Bahama Breeze without popping in for a couple of Bahamaritas - DH will insist on driving!!!! It's such a small world, whilst sat at the bar a speedway rider from England (Neil is into Speedway big time) came and sat next to us, we got talking and had a few drinks together. 3 Bahamaritas later and we finally head back to the room.
After doing the beer sampling at Seaworld & Busch Gardens, Neil has been trying to find Bud Extra, its basically beer with Raspberry flavour (formerly called B 2 the E) but not many places sell it, not even Seaworld or Busch themselves. He tried what the the Seaworld staff said and rang 1 800 DIAL BUD and they told us the closest place that sold it was Racetrac Gas station, just up 192. We went and they had it, Neil is chuffed!!!
We were going to get a taxi up to TGI Fridays but decided to go to Ponderosa and have a few beers back in the room, as we need to pack up again as we are staying over on I-Drive from tomorrow. I wanted a hotel close to Bahama Breeze (lol) and a friend that DH and I know recommended the Quality Inn Plaza.
Forgot to mention in previous reports, here is our rental car!!
Tomorrow - Seaworld
