ASAP! OKW vs. SSR studio: Opinions?

Okay, I DID post this on the DVC discussion forum, but this is a more active board. So, here it is:

Hello!
We're renting points to try out a DVC studio this May (DH, DS9 and myself.) Our first choices, VWL and BCV, are not available, but SSR and OKW are.
I've looked at photos on Deb Willis' website and just have a couple of questions for you DVC experts:
1. Is there still a lot of construction going on around SSR? If our view is of a construction site, DH will NOT be happy! It also looks a bit "treeless"...still the case?
2. Is the studio at OKW as large as other studios? Maybe it's the shape of the floorplan, since it's a lock-off, but it just seems oddly configured or smaller or something.
3. Is the color theme in all the OKW units still pink/peach and seafoam green? Just like in the pictures? Does it seem at all dated?
4. Which one is YOUR vote?

OKW Studios are larger *and* have two queen beds as opposed to a bed and a sleeper sofa. I don't know about SSR, but we chose OKW for our upcoming June trip.

OKW's rooms are a little larger but really not much more unable space (the bathroom is a little larger and nice).

SSR is newer but you would not know OKW is older from looking at it.

OKW only have a sit down restuarant and a very small outside one for hot dogs etc. SSR has no service restuarant but their is self serve is has more to offer than OKW outside one.

You can take a boat to down town Disney from OKW but the boat does not operate all hours. It is very nice. There is a boat too at SSR but the ride is not as scenic.

You can see Down Town Disney from SSR including the party at Paradise Island at night.

OKW does have two queen beds instead of one queen and a pull out.

You over look the golf course, woods, etc at OKW for almost all the views. While I was at SSR I did not see all of the rooms so I can not comment on their views.

There are more pools at OKW. This complex is very large and you would have to drive to them probably. They are call quiet and a lot of the time you will be the only on in them. If you like playing tennis, shuffle board it is located right at OKW main pool. At SSR you have to walk to get to them.

I am not sure if SSR has any pool but the main one open yet. You may want to check if you play on staying at the pool as it is not very large.

Both will have the small refrig/ and microwave.

What I don't like about OKW balcony is it is only open on 2 sides but the view is normal nice.

Contruction at SSR should not be a problem but if you go have the DVC person request a room away from it.
