I have watched this show for for over 30 years. Next September will be a sad time.

Sad.

I watch the Bold & the Beautiful, but had been meaning to start watching all the other soaps as well. I know I'd feel beyond disappointed if my favorite shows (B&B and other non soaps) were canceled, because it's more than just viewing. I feel almost like the characters are another set of friends/peers; I care about their lives. I love discussing the shows with people in my own life, on message boards, etc. To never see or hear new scenes and dialogue will definitely be sad for the ATWT fans who have been watching since 1956 or since any other time. Enjoy your show until 2010. Maybe there will be some really phenomenal story lines so the show goes out in style!

SIgh, I am so sad about this first Guiding Light and now ATWT. I started watching these when I was probably 7 or 8 with my mom after school. I didn't watch them much the last few years but once in awhile I'd catch them. They are like an extension of your family. Many time I've been chatting with my mom about Barabara and Craig, Carly and Jack etc..and people have thought we were talking about people we know personally lol

Wow this is so sad. I admit that I watch ATWT on and off but for those who are faithful watchers I feel for you. I was a faithful Guiding Light Viewer since I was in Middle School and it hurts.

I think we are really beginning to see the end of the Soap Opera Genre. I mean after ATWT goes off the air there will only be 6 soaps left with only one being in New York.
