Okay, I ordered our groceries today. Mostly water and diapers.

ihearthemouse: I am afraid to get AP's for that reason...it will throw me into planning overdrive and mess up our whole financial plan for the 2013 trips! I would be trying to sneak in extra time in the world for sure!!

parith1114: I am of no help to you...Heather has really made us want to stay at AKL too! But the moderates call because of their better price.... But you have come to the right place for help!

Hannah: Sounds like a good plan with the QS, we have always found lots of wonderful and healthy Counter service options!

On a happier note spoiling grandkids is the best .... I'm now adopted grandma to Jeanette's kiddos and since she and Dani are sisters I get her two little ones to but ..... I share all of them with Christine!

I do plan on doing a trip report!

When DH got home tonight, I laid the 2013 scenarios out to him....he said "can we just go on this trip first? We'll plan the new trip when we get back.". Well played honey, well played.

Oh so interesting...could your DH and mine have been texting today??? I heard almost the exact same statement! It just feels so much better to end your trip knowing you are coming back...lessens the depression just a little bit don't you think??

Candace and Jen you need to follow our family rule .... never leave WDW without another trip planned if not booked!!! It's the law!!!

Welcome. At this point in time the interline discount is the best discount wdw offers. You are not going to do better than 40% off. I agree it is difficult during busy times to get a gv or standard view at any deluxe resort. Water views are the easiest rooms to get, and club level is hit or miss. We love split stays. The only thing I don't like is when I have to change dates, and I have three reservations to try to move. CSR is my favorite mod. I don't like Poly at Christmas time, but it is my favorite resort. My favorites resorts at Christmas were GF, BW,BC,YC, and WL in that order.

That probably didn't help at all. I am glad to know I'm not the only one driving the Cm's in the interline office nuts.

I'm pretty sure they have my name up on a little sticky that says "will ask about every resort." I do keep those ladies busy. I wish they had something like the cruise line where you can put in the interline code. Oh well, I usually get the friendliest CM's. I love the look of CSR, but the rest of the family likes POR. Has anyone tried the food court at CSR, is it any good?

Linda, oh how I wish I could! Unfortunately DH has to ok these trips, and after this one it'll be a couple yrs before I can get him to ok another one, I think! it's going to be so hard not having a trip planned! I'll have to stick with my RCer family and live vicariously through you all!

Perhaps my next trip will be a smaller one, back to where my love affair began in 1990 (DL) DH / then DBF took me on a spontaneous drive for 24 hours straight to the Mouse's house in CALI.....we where young 20 and carefree.....drove straight from Lower Mainland BC, Canada to Anaheim without a break! I haven't been back to DL since, and would love to see all the new stuff.....cars land and California adventure are all new and unexplored territory for me

Absolutely! I can't wait to start messing around with the next trip! Is that bad? And the whole Disney depression thing (this is bad), when I was packing...and I was putting our date labeled ziplock bags into the suitcase, I almost cried about the bags labeled 7/25...because that's our last day....
We haven't even gotten there yet, and I'm already crying about leaving!!!!

Janet - that was a marvelous recap! I changed my dates last week but still BC. But I haven't given up hope for a DLR pin code. If that happens - west coast here I come!

MM - you're almost "home". So excited for you!

Jenny and Heather - we loved POR. it was only crowded when the trundle was out at night. We pushed it back under during the day. The bathroom area was nice and big with plenty of room for 3 of us to get ready at same time. The toilet and shower are separate with a door which I think helps when you have a lot of people sharing one

JC - thanks for keeping the resort list for us!

Hannah - I hope your mom can go!

Dani - glad danimal is eating ice cream. That is definitely I good sign.

So we are currently in st. Louis for dance nationals. Had an easy drive up yesterday and a yummy dinner followed by an adventurous walk back to the hotel! I feel sure we were walking on roads we shouldn't have! Today we are going to explore downtown st Charles and then the arch! Tomorrow - six flags where I will be homesick for WDW. and then lots of dancing all weekend.

Oh, I started planning my 2013 trip. Get this - my first adults only trip to the world! 3 fun couples take on F&W 2013! Suggestions on where to stay with no kids?

I have to say I am so grateful for our RC family You guys definitely keep me sane when everything starts to fall apart. It's crazy how close you can feel to someone you've never met. I am eternally thankful to Disney for bringing me to such a great group of people.

This sounds amazing! I say stay close to Epcot...we have never but I bet the convenience of it is wonderful! Hope your girls do well at dance...mine are missing dance classes and every morning we have to go down to our basement to have a dance party. DH built them a little stage down there...anything for his girls!
