Hello to my family Thank you for all the love!! And thank you for all the prayers for my Bree All the thoughts really mean so much, we re so blessed to hav such an awesome extended family!

For my sister dani I am so glad Lilyana did not have to stay in the hospital And I will continue my prayers for an uneventful visit to the specialist on Monday..until then, hang in there sis, and remember I am a text (and a short drive) away...there's nothing ER docs are scared of more than an ER nurse...so if you need back up..I am there. I don't know the docs in your area, but there are 2 excellent children's hospital in the New Brunswick Area, and I will watch Danimal, anytime...

My new job is great It was super hot yesterday...so I didn't love that, and today we just found out my FIL (purposely did not say DFIL) has passed. DH and DBIL never notified, so he's taking it hard...DH found out from the AF At least he knows now...but he needs my undivided attention..I wanted to stop in and say hello, and I love you all

Sending to you and your DH....I am dreading the day when something happens to my MIL, things are not good there, and DH will probably take it very hard too. Hope things get better for your DH in the coming days.

What's wrong with people? That's no way to treat your DH and DBIL. I'm sorry for all this turmoil you're experiencing with family. (BTW, what's 'the AF'?)

I'm glad to hear that so far, other than the heat, you do like your new job - that holds great promise.

Lots of crazy weather here Friday night, but we were very lucky only to lose power for about 5 hours. Hundreds of thousands are still w/o power. I hope all you who were affected have power and no damage from the storms.

Hi everyone. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. I have been watching Lily very closely and pushing as much fluids as possible but she isn't much into drinking. She's nursing round the clock though. She isn't bruising or having any bleeding, so that's a good sign. I will keep you all updated either by posting myself or through Janet who is kind enough to update for me.

Jeanette Bree is in my prayers as well as the whole Pas family. I am so sorry for what is going on with your DH and his father's passing. Please text me if you need anything.

Dani, so happy that Lily seems to be steadily improving, and has no signs of bruising/bleeding. And as long as she's getting fluids (courtesy of her Mama) it's good. She just wants the comfort of her Mama And I do hope the doctor visit tomorrow is uneventful.

Hey there! We are fine. The storm started after we had touched down, and the thunder and lightning started when we were driving to her house, but really ramped up once we got inside...lots of damage, but we are fine. We didn't have running water all day yesterday though, but all is well today. Overall, we are having a good stay...it's interesting travelling without DH (I haven't done it before), so you know...one minute at a time. Then, when I got back online last night, I found out about the whole WL thing...but I think we are safe as of right now.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!! Our trip is 2 weeks from today!!!!!

Another storm is brewing here in Illinois. My mom is driving back from Omaha where she saw the US Olympic Swim Trials and she was caught in the rain that's out in Western Illinois about an hour ago. She should be here in about 20 minutes though. Can't wait to see her and my sister! I haven't seen them in a week!

Right now I have a two BR garden view at BWV from 7/29-8-/4, but I'm hoping to move over the BCV. Nothing against the BWV, but BCV is home to me, and I want my first DVC vacation to be at our home resort. Keeping my fingers crossed!

An update on our dear Lilyanna ....

She has been sent home with her Mama ... the doctors are looking at a viral infection that could be affecting her platelet count (it has been low).. and if they are correct, the virus will be clearing up on its own.

Dani will be bringing Lilyanna to a hematologist on Monday.

Please keep our Lilyanna and her family in your prayers.


[And of course, we continue to hold both Bree in our thoughts and prayers as well.]

Hey there! We are fine. We are home from a weekend on the lake. I am sunburnt (because I am not very smart ) and bruised (because I am a klutz ) But we had a fun weekend. My kids stayed at the lake with their grandparents. They are coming home just for the day on Wednesday and then going back on Thursday. So its just dh, me and the dog!

Hi everyone..I was sitting here wondering how is Lilyana? I hope she is doing ok...

Yesterday was Canada Day! (much like Fourth of July) We had a great day at a friend Canada Day party, and then saw fireworks last night. Sadly I kept comparing them to Wishes.... but still it was a great night and late night! The DD's are grumpy today and we have soccer tonight...

Me too He was very ill, and if not for DH he wouldn't have made it through his coma. My FIL's GF is not very nice, and a major blowout...resulting in them not speaking...this is why he was never notified..because of the GF....JMHO

Dani is pretty amazing, anything I can do to help. I am at wit's end myself. My poor DH, and his job has turned upside down..just resigned from my ER position, things are ugly here today, I am in a very dark place.

Thanks Sheila, I wasn't shocked. His creditors have been calling, andDH has made comments he probably died, but to have confirmation hit him very, very hard.

I am sorry your DH is taking it very hard, a parent dying must be a horrible ordeal, one I have not had to face yet. What happened with your ER job? There were some scheduling issues, and I have to put my family first. So I gave my 2 weeks notice...they are not even sorry to see me go...it is what is...at least I have something else to fall back on...everything for a reason, right

Jeanette I wish there was something I could say to make all the hurt and pain go away for you. I feel so bad for your DH and his not being notified of his Fathers passing. Why some people have to be so cruel is beyond all reason. It is just plain hateful. My heart goes out to your DH and I pray he can find some closure and comfort.
