I have booked GF so many times, and have yet to stay there. It's the cost combined with the fact that I'm the only one in the family that likes the resort. I always come to my senses a day or two after booking it. 92 minutes was a record.

I started looking at CL thanks to this thread

I just don't think it's worth it for us. It would be perfect for us for breakfast but if I add up the cost of buying QS. It's cheaper just to buy the meals. We don't tend to come back midday so not sure the afternoon and evening options would be used. Of course, it's been cooler on our last two trips so no mid afternoon swimming was needed....

I can't justify it and, believe me I've tried. I keep reviewing the "perks" in hopes that I missed something. : I am such a planning fanatic that I would never use Concierge CM to book anything for me and, like you, I don't think that we would take advantage of any of the food options except maybe breakfast. For us, it would end up being very expensive bagels and juice.

Ohh, sorry to see in the amount of time I was away from the DIS you booked and unbooked my favorite resort. It is a lot of money, better to not get "hooked"! pas caught the GF bug

Lazy is the understatement!!! However I did manage to pull out half my closet and attempted to start deciding what needs to go and what doesn't....there's lots to be done!!

We asked at 3 if our room was going to be serviced soon and the CM said we gave up our rights to get housekeeing since we had the "privacy" sign on for an hour while DD1 napped. Then yelled at my DH when he asked for a manager.

Heather I never rule out anything even the GF. If I could get a gv room with a good discount I would go for it. GV's are never available with the interline rate. I'll see what happens when Ap rates come out. I have a plan for what I would like to do with my AP's, but nothing is ever set in stone. I wont activate them until I'm 90% sure I'll be able to make the three trips with them. December is looking good at the moment, and Christmas at the GF would be sweet.

Well, it seems she thinks three resorts in 14 days is one too many and brilliantly suggested we cancel YC/CL and instead extend our AoA and WL/CL stays. So I changed our reservation (again) and canceled YC, added a day to AoA and 3 days to WL. DD said she preferred the beach at WL to crowded SAB and I have to say I agree. I told her that she had complained about staying too long at WL once so I thought she'd love the tri-split stay, but apparently when you're 13, you change your mind often and you are often "misinterpreted" (DD's words). It seems that just 3 nights at another resort is enough to off-set an "extended" stay at WL. I really can't keep up with the teenage mind.

That is not good. In 2010 when we stayed at the Atrium Club, I wasn't impressed with their service or lounge upkeep. I hoped that by now they had made improvements, but it sounds like you're not seeing an improvement in service. Hopefully, you can request a specific timeframe that you'd like to have your room cleaned so this doesn't happen again.

Yes we have the TIW. I was surprised how much it saved us. I'ts a great deal. If you go more than once a year it's worth it.

I finally read up on the TIW card when we almost bought our APs. It does sounds really handy.

I can't decide if I want to go for SWW next year or for the kids' birthdays. Anyone want to weigh in?

It's taken me all these years to figure out what a great idea an MK/EP split would be which explains my Oct split but of course I had to add AK to that split!

Your split sounds FABULOUS. I still can't coerce the hubs into AKL. One of these days, one of them... or I'll just lock him in the closet.

That is not good. In 2010 when we stayed at the Atrium Club, I wasn't impressed with their service or lounge upkeep. I hoped that by now they had made improvements, but it sounds like you're not seeing an improvement in service. More days in your favorite place. When a resort works for you it just works. The BC/Yc is that resort for us. Poly will always be my favorite, but BC is the best overall fit. I am hoping to try Wl CL at some point. I think Cl would negate the lame pool slide. Boys are easily bribed with food.

Sweet it would be!! It's been YEARS since I've been at Christmas, but from what I remember, the GF can't be beat at that time. Hope you make it there one day

Totally cool thing happened tonight. Lightning storm so bad the MK went dark. As in you couldnt even see it or like 5 to 10 minutes. Pretty cool to see. Hope everyone is ok!
