I was just thinking of you!!! I was having a hypothetical discussion with Danimal. You know, "if we were going to Disney and you could stay anywhere where would you stay?" His answer was GF Sugarloaf.

So, I just spent the last hour or so scrutinizing my ADRs to see what I can move around so that we can maximize our usage of the CL lounge at appetizer time. I am happy to say that I was successful in moving things around!!!!

We'll probably use it for breakfast about 70% of our time there, for mid day snacks about 80% and appetizer/drink time about 50% of the time. I feel good about those numbers and feel it makes it "worth it" in my opinion.

The best thing is that my DH sat down with me to figure it all out, he's got the logical mind, and now I know I've scheduled enough "downtime" for him as requested.

I feel really good about our itinerary.

In other news, we have our best friends children right now as my BFF ended up in the emergency room with a kidney stone. unclear when we'll be back down to 2 kids again...

JC: What is your itinerary like when you're there in Sept??

Just wanted to update my little situation....DH and I have decided...NO CRUISE!! At least for next year. We will consider it when the kiddos are a wee bit older. Boo. Hiss.

BUT this means I get to plan 2 trips back to the world in 2013!!! YAY! One in May possibly and one in early December. Can you all tell me what it is like at those times of year?

MM: Hope your friend gets well soon!

Dani: do the two trips...if we get AP's I will be planning like that too!

Thanks guys!!! All is good, she's pretty drugged up but she was non surgical so she's home and her DH is taking care of her. The kiddos all had a great time of course. These friends are really family to us, so when they called we had to drop everything. Wouldn't have it any other way...that are great people!

I think 2 trips sounds perfect, but you probably already know that.
I think we'll try the cruise when our girls are older too...mainly because my DH wants to do the Greek Isles cruise and that will require the girls to make it through an 8 hour flight to Spain, and then on a boat for a week...
They are good little travelers, but not that good.

Yes, a mediterranean cruise would appeal to us a bit more, I have been overseas to Europe but DH has never and this type of cruise would be perfect for us. I know what you mean about the 8 hour flight...not fun.

It's absolutely wonderful having friends like that!
We've been friends with them a little over 7 years and they were the first people we met in our neighborhood when we bought our house. Our oldest DDs are a year apart in age but BFFs nonetheless and their DS and our youngest DD are 1 month apart, we decided to try getting pregnant at the same time, and I guess it worked!!!

They have since moved to the next town over, about 15 minutes away, but we obviously still remain VERY close!

DH said he would rather do a Florida/California 10 day swing, rather than 2 separate trips. Soooooooooooo I need to start planning. I probably can't settle on dates yet until a few things get settled at my work. I'll be going full time in a couple weeks, and possibly a new opportunity is opening for me there..... so I'll need to know about fall events. Fingers crossed.... I love Dior, but am ready for a change of scenery--cough cough... change of drama

I've really been in a Sugarloaf mood.

I didn't get pictures uploaded this weekend. I have been trying to get the dogs settled, tonight I put all our new pins in our pin book, and of course there's unpacking. I worked allllllllll day today and work tomorrow before dinner with DH and MIL Hopefully I'll be back on track sometime next week.

Okay I also need everyone to weigh in on resort choices. You all know how I felt about Sugarloaf and I don't expect to feel any more comfortable there solo with the kids. For a girls only trip I'd love it, but not really with the kids (especially Danimal and his issues). I can get CR Garden Wing, Tower Bay Lake, TPV, CL, and TPV CL, Poly TPV or TPV CL, and Sugarloaf. What do I do? As much as I love Poly I'd like to try something new, however CR CL doesn't thrill me. Also I'd like CL since I will be with the kids but TPV CL is $$$$. I'm back to the RC drawing board.
