Candace I posted about this a few pages back. I definitely plan mostly lunches so we can maximize our lounge usage. A couple others agreed that it's the best way to do CL. I know pas said she does the same. I like to grab breakfast in the lounge before heading to rope drop. I usually plan a lunch ADR for us in the park for our park days. At night we like to hit the lounge for 5 to eat some yummy evening offerings and enjoy a beer or 2 (or 3!). Then we either head to the parks and have CS when we're hungry or hang around the resort swimming and watch the EWP and fireworks from the lounge while enjoying dessert! It's a great way to enjoy Disney, especially with a longer trip planned
Love this plan, Dani! We did much the same when we went as a family, even though there was no CL back then. We enjoyed our resort so much, almost always the Poly, but once in a while CR...we tried BC when it was brand new and a few stays at the Dolphin b/c Mia had what was called a "TA Education" rate of $42.50 a ngt inc tx (to educate TA about the resorts by staying there!)..and we were on the 7th floor with an EPCOT view every stay. I would not stay at either the Swan or Dolphin now, but it was fun when they were brand new...no BWI yet. A tram took guests to International Gateway...or we could walk...there was a wooden boardwalk, but nothing else. No GF back then either... Oops, I digress.... I so miss those family trips. It is a special time, Dani, and I know you treasure each one.
I am afraid of Space Mountain...and Mission Space...and RnR, and Tot, hmmmmm.... I am a wimp!!

Me too! Pirates is a thrill ride for me! I even hold on when we go down the drop!

Have done SM twice (came out shaking), TOT once - thought I might go into cardiac arrest because my heart was pounding so hard when we walked off...knees shaking so bad I could barely walk, and hands shaking so much that I could not get money of out my wallet to pay for the photo.

I used to do Big Thunder, but prefer the one in DL...do not do the WDW one anymore. Happy to a member of the coat holders gang!
We have 4 dinners. 3 at 'Ohana.
What fun!!
I
totally get it. Danimal is a super picky eater (but he likes liverwurst

). I was happy they had uncrustables and mini corn dogs because he snacked on those and then would eat a meal at CS when we did later on. he hardly eats in WDW though. He gets way overstimulated. I lucky if he eats one meal collectively through the day. Thank god for dole whips!
Aww, sweet Danimal. Many kids are the same...but I am too! Even though we make plenty of ADR's, it is always difficult for me to find something on the menu I like or can eat. Often order from the kids menu when not on the DP. One of the reasons I've hestated to try CL is because I'd not enjoy most of the offerings other than fruit, water and maybe some desserts.
Dani, when do you work again? You are in my thoughts so often...praying something changes very soon.
Have a Happy Saturday, RCers!
