Ha!!! Totally forgot about POFQ!!! :rotfl2:

It is very hard to keep up with our bunch!
:rotfl2:

Men and their Disney food. DH loved the BW Bakery and eating BW Pizza near the water. :rotfl2:
He is so picky, the only stuff he likes is plain food...hence why CL holds no appeal :confused3

I do not blame HRH in regards to the GF construction. I have always planned on staying GF if I went during Christmastime but not with the Construction
I think that's why she can't pick one...she had her heart set on GF :(

I want to run something by y'all and hopefully your reviews / ideas help me decide......Scenario:
on our last night in Disney (Wed Oct 3) DHS will probably keep us busy till 5'ish/ maybe 6pm. That night has Epcot EMH until 12 am, which my boys want to hit by themselves.....probably purchase the $35 PH for them and let them go. So far, our meals for that day are TS lunch @12 at SCI FI. I could send the boys off with a QS credit each and they can bum dinner somewhere that fancys them in Epcot.

now I was looking at All Ears menus, and it looks like the cheapest of our meals for me to pay OOP would be our KONA breakfast (cheaper than even Sci FI) here's my plans just to give an over view: basic Ddp

Fri Sept 28 arrival day @ 2:30 pm check into CL at Poly then head to MK till it closes at 7 pm Dinner @ Cali Grill 7:45

Sat Sept 29 KONA breakfast at 9:30 am then head to AK for day. Dinner at 7:05 at OHANA

Sunday Sept 30 MNSSHP day. Cabana at 10-2 pm, then head to MK for 4pm. Dinner will be QS at CHH from credits we saved on arrival day.

Mon Oct 1: Originally going to be Epcot day, but with birthday crowd predictions changed to Discovery cove day. We are fed at DC today, so will have a QS credit for dinner at WPE after DC, this is where my extra TS credit comes in to pay for Cali Grill

Tue Oct 2: Epcot day dinner at Teppan Edo

Final Disney Day Wed Oct 3: DHS today.
Here is where I need help.

Lunch will be At Sci FI at 12:00// we will use that days TS for lunch...I know, not the best use of a credit, but I have it and don't want to waste it.

I am thinking, dinner.....send the boys off with their QS credit to use for their dinner......THEN ( hope you are still following me, LOL) popcorn::

My BFF and I can go to a signature for dinner because we will have 4 TS credits from paying OOP for KONA breakfast..... So we could do something special for our last meal.

It can't be a park, because I don't want to buy PH for us.....I am thinking it could be:

Take boat from DHS to yacht club for Yachtmans.....

Or: Citricos or Narrocesses (sp?) at GF

Or: take a bus to AKL and go to JIKO

OR: flying Fish at the Boardwalk.....but I am thinking since we just ate at 12:00 to head back to the resort to shower, put on a sundress.....then later dinner maybe around 7:30?

Any ideas/ thoughts or suggestions if you are still with me? This would be nice to have a night out just the two of us..... What do you think we should do?

Ok.......One, Two, Three......GO!...... :thumbsup2
******************************************************

Ok.....just re read that, and I'm confused! Sorry for the long post, I rambled a bit! I need to see some TS math on paper here to figure this out.....I think I am ahead in credits somewhere:

5 nights x 4 ppl = 20 TS credits

Fri sept 28 I need 8 TS credits for dinner 20-8= 12 left
Sat sept 29 need 4 TS for OHANA 12-4= 8 TS left // Pay OOP for KONA breakfast
Sunday Sept 30 no TS used
Monday Oct 1 no TS credits used
Tue Oct 2 need 4 TS for Teppan EDo so 8-4= 4 TS left
Wed Oct 3 Sci FI lunch 4-4= 0 TS left

BUT.....if I pay out if pocket for SCi FI....we girls can use the boys TS towards a signature meal, I'd have 4 credits for dinner for my BFF and I......

Just got off the phone with IPO!!!! What a wonderful difference to be able to call and reach a person vs. an automated system!!! :goodvibes

Oh, trust me you'll get spoiled! I can't stay anywhere but CL now! :cloud9: I don't even want to THINK non club level......I'll save until I CAN stay CL if need be! :lovestruc

Being able to call the IPO with questions, requests, etc is one of the best parts of CL. They really care about your upcoming vacation, and will do what they can to help make it a wonderful experience. It's a huge time saver.:thumbsup2

Won't be long until you're at WL! :woohoo:

:thumbsup2Marie....my vote will be Narcoosees :goodvibes Citrico's has good reviews (So does Yachtsmen) but that's not at GF....;)

Marie I have not personally eaten at Narcoossee's, but good friends of ours have and they absolutely rave about that place. And we are from New England, so to rave about seafood elsewhere means alot. :goodvibes

...oh, and yes, I think I could see some spoiling going on....:scared1:

WOW .... just caught up! I'm not even going to try and multiquote! Or even mention everyone by name but I did want to say Janet so happy to hear that your mom is doing so well and JC I'm thinking about you and praying for you everyday.

Warm weather is finally here so it's time to head up to the cabin in Tahoe where I'll spend about half my time. Can't wait to see how my flower garden stood up to the winter ... first time I've planted anything up there.

Since I've been back from So Cal it's been pretty quiet around here .... working in the yard, cleaning, ordering new glasses and sunglasses was about the the most exciting thing I've done! I do miss my long walks on the beach in Marina del Rey! Two more years and we'll make up our minds whether to move there or just stay where we are.

I feel bad that I can't add anything to the RCing conversation but ..... when you're staying on points, using 2 different use years points and switching resorts so much it just doesn't seem worth it. And I am happy about all 4 resorts we are staying at .... well maybe not thrilled about OKW but it was so cheap I just couldn't pass it up! Besides it'll be at the end of the trip and by then I think lots of downtime and the boat to DTD sounds wonderful! If I get bored there I'll just legally pool hop! Maybe GF or Poly ..... :confused3

Hope all my RC friends are having a great day!!! :grouphug:

Welcome back...Cabin & home on the beach SOUNDS LIKE A FANTASTIC PLAN!!! Will your DD be there long term? So then you're close to her as well :lovestruc

Thanks for the welcome back. Both my DD and DS are in So Cal for the long haul so being close to them would be out of this world!!! But we'd have to give up the cabin in Tahoe if we move. It is just so much more expensive to live there that there is no way we could afford it. :sad2:

:confused3 ugh....but it does seem amazing there :goodvibes hard to choose...esp. for us

sarah updateSo far so good as of last night for our JC , I will continue to pray for her...as always!

I am unbelievably excited about our upcoming trip!!! :yay::yay:

There has been so much planning, and so much changing, and I remember bouncing around the house way back in Sept last year when DH said that we could do deluxe and stay at WL...You all know how much change there has between then and now, and I am sooooooo content with our plans now, it's not even funny!!! This is absolutely a dream trip. :cloud9:

I can't stop smiling!!! :goodvibes

I am so glad to hear JungleCruiser is doing well. :hippie:
:)
Greetings GrumpyGrandma! :bitelip: A little DIS downtime is great to recharge the batteries. Enjoy the cabin. I hope your garden weathered the winter and is in happy bloom. :daisy: I just ordered more easy care daylillies for my cabin to plant them over Memorial Day. I have 32 varieties now... who knew? :upsidedow We are located in a “temperate rain forest,” and it is amazing how well everything does there without me being there. I get so much joy from mine. :sunny:
:)

Nice to hear IPO is making MouseMommy all happy inside. :goodvibes

Yes it's a TA offer. It's valid until the end of September. I would love to add a night or two on but we booked our airfare already. Ughhh. Maybe I can scheme a quick getaway for Danimal and I in September? It could be perfect. We could do MNNSHP and check out AoA. Hmmmmm.
That sounds so nice. I hope you do it. :goodvibes

I was totally ready to switch to YC until I read this!!!!! haha:hyper: I never really thought about the crowds at the pool/food!! We are going the week of Aug 27-Sept 2 before LAbor day and when school starts. Do you really think it will be that crowded? Crowd levels are about a 3 during the week and a 4 on the weekends. I do agree with you on the views being better at WL. The last time we stayed at YC we saw bushes and a parking lot and at WL we were CL and looked at the smoke house/woods/monorail/wishes!! I don;t know if we could top that at WL again! Even if we do get a refurbished room, the rooms at the YC are still bigger and have a fan (i can't remember if WL has a fan) a balcony, I think I may be leaning towards YC...for today!! Thanks!!pixiedust:
A little waffling is good pixie dust for the WDW soul.

Sounds great to me!!!! DH gave YC a thumbs down :confused3 Said the lounge had nothing for him, we don't need CL, we won't be in the room that much, and I spent too much money...so I called last night, changed to CBR...
THEN DH reminded me I don't like CBR, I knew that, but guaranteed King bed....he said we slept in separate beds in Poly....(we did) and what about Pop...so I said discount only 5%..blah blah blah....BUT we are now at Pop :) And I am paid in full....got a credit which te CM transferred to my HRH Bday trip.....WHICH...
HRH said yesterday she no longer wants GF, she wants Poly, no BC...so I switched, and she had a meltdown today refusing to tell me where she wants to stay...so I kept BC...saved over $1000 over RPC....Poly CL isn't too much more...but I have to wait for her to be in a better mood :faint:
AND I got the same CM today for both calls, she was cracking up
POP is perfect! :lovestruc Great for you and DH since you will be on the go-go-go!!! .....I hope HRH and you can come to a “agreement” on your girls' trip! :rotfl2:

All this talk about WL CL had me over on the Disney site pricing it out for my next trip. Also everyone keeps saying WL is the best place to stay at Christmastime. I was surprised to see that the Total cost was only $17 more than what I am paying for the WV room at BWI. I am going to run it by Bob again. :confused3
BWI WV vs. WL CL. :cloud9: Such a wonderful decision to have to make. I'll be waiting... popcorn::

I like your plan and your ADRs. :thumbsup2

Two thoughts on BFF meal:
1) Since you are at Poly, go back to room after DHS and freshen up. Then hop the monorail, watch Wishes and do a GF ADR not in any particular order. I prefer Citrico's, but of course Narcoossee view is nice for BFF.

2) If it was me, I would make the extra effort to travel to the Boardwalk area with BFF. :cutie: Either Yachtsman or Flying Fish. My BFF and I had a fantastic meal Dec 2010 at Flying Fish. It is underrated IMO. We had a later ADR maybe 8 or 8:30. We did the whole enchilada with leisurely soup, split appy, entree, dessert, and everything was superb. We just talked and talked for hours and had a great time at a table with a nice view. We had probably the best server we ever had at a WDW restaurant. Before our dinner we strolled the BW and shopped and watched our favorite “boardwalk buskers”. Or maybe stop to watch Illuminations from the bridge if you get a earlier ADR. :)

I hope, for my TA's sake, that I am finally done changing, I mean "planning" our next trip. We started out at AoA, then changed to POFQ and finally ended our planning at WL. I finally feel like we are at the right place, so hopefully there will be no more changes, but there is still over 3 months......:yay:

First post in the resort changers thread, AHHH! I had to vent my frustrations somewhere though at Disney tempting me! When I first booked my trip in March I used a PIN code that did NOT include the GF. Today I get a PIN code for our dates with the GF included! I am really looking forward to staying at the WL, but GRRR DISNEY YOU TEMPTRESS! Why now?!? =) Someone please tell me the construction is ugly so I don't try to change. ;)

Still plenty of time for change, LOL!!! :rotfl2: But, WL=:cloud9:

Um, just look at the pics!!! The construction is terrible, and it's only going to get worse. The whole pool area is affected, the beach view....yuck, yuck, yuck. You could get a brand new room at WL, did you see those pics?? :cloud9:

Can you tell I'm feeling the WL??? :goodvibes

Thanks for all the great dinner ideas  I have been sitting here rethinking things and this idea came to my mind......

Maybe BFF and I could leave DHS, around 5/6 pm then go to DTD for dinner somewhere with a 7 pm ADR. (suggestions? 1 TS credit meals are fine) then I was thinking we could do the 9:00 LA NOUBA show, just the 2 of us......????

Do you think that might be doable??? Ideas for dinner???

MM: I just had to say I am so happy for you, my friend :goodvibes  I know how hard it is to come to a decision you feel 100% at peace with! I think your trip is finally settled and perfect, glad you are at peace! :cloud9:

Hi Peeps!

Sarah ... thinking of you and hoping you are feeling well today.

That was in the original plans but being that we're going the week before Thanksgiving and the kids are really too young to enjoy DQ we thought it would be a waste of money. Plus us 3 adults all have a single day left on previous tickets for BB and we'll just pay OOP for the kids for the 1 day we do it. :cool2:

That makes perfect sense!! Just noticed the kids ages ... and think they will be thrilled with being at AoA and the Finding Nemo pool!! And all the different play and splash area :thumbsup2 .. they just might not miss a slide. :goodvibes

FYI, showed the kiddos pics of the new rooms at WL and the "snack room"... Totally won them over...

:yay: MM!! So glad you are happy and at peace with your latest (and final??) RC! :)

Ughhh I just got an email for 60% off AoA. That makes it less than $100 a night. I totally would love to stay there for a night or 2!!! However my whole trip is already planned and switching 2 nights there would be too much of a hassle. Why did they have to send it so late?!

Wow, Dani!! Wish you could book that discount for me!!

BUT we are now at Pop :) And I am paid in full....got a credit which te CM transferred to my HRH Bday trip.....WHICH...

We don't do the shows...no one will sit through them..not even DH. He is S excited for our trip. We will do slushies in WS...NO WHEELCHAIR :hyper:

So glad Mom is feeling better!
:cool1:

Pas ... I am little hurt :sad1:... THIS is how I find out you booked POP for August?? No text to me??? :teeth: :yay: for POP waffles!!

WOW .... just caught up! I'm not even going to try and multiquote! Or even mention everyone by name but I did want to say Janet so happy to hear that your mom is doing so well and JC I'm thinking about you and praying for you everyday.

Hi GG!! Your cabin sounds fabulous!! Do you spend most of the summer there?

Marie: Your signature meal choices all sound yummy! I might be tempted to go over to AKL and try Jiko ... I know you are going to AK on Saturday, but probably not visiting the lodge ... and Jiko sounds so different and fascinating!

My other vote would be for the Yachtsmen ... my sister had dinner there last October and loved it and you could take in the boardwalk afterwards.

Hi to all RCers, past, present and new!!!:banana:

Would probably take a cab from DHS to DTD, and then you could do maybe Wolfgang Puck Express??? We had a great meal there. There is also Fulton's, but that is 2 TS and I haven't tried it but it looks wonderful!!!

I've heard alot of great things about Raglan Road as well!!!

FINAL

Oh wait, I've done the bold lettered thing before...but this time, I mean it!!!!!

Truth be told (god forbid DH read this), this is the dream anniversary/birthday trip I had envisioned...but to plan or book it up front seemed like a lot of $$$. Yeah, we're spending the same amount of money, but our trip has been paid off for quite some time, so just throwing $250 at the reservation to get CL didn't seem like a big deal...it just took all the steps in between to get to this point. :goodvibes
