You know what I've realized?! ..... I FEEL GOOD ABOUT MY RESORT! I go to the POLY thread and read how others are having an amazing time there, I see the beautiful pictures, I dream of myself walking around the tiki lit paths, chilling in the volcano pool, soaking up the ambience....I get those butterflies when I think about our stay! I think I made the right choice and I am excited about our stay!!! that's how it should be, anticipation and excitement, and I am so glad I got that back again i have seriously stopped worrying about the chance of shabbiness in my room.....as long as my room is in good repair, clean and comfortable, I think we will be fine! I'm the type of girl who's happy at HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS! so I'm sure Disney will trump that hands down,

Yay!! Me too! It was when I read on the Poly thread about the movie on the beach and it just reminded me of 'that feeling' I had when we were there. It is amazing there and I love that feeling that you are really "somewhere else"! It takes me alot to relax and the Poly made me do that. I can't wait!

It is still a split. They can only get a few days off, so we'll visit and have a great time together at WL.
After that, I'll be solo for a day at AKL, and then it will be time to fly home.

I was up until 4:30 am with what I think was a mild case of food poisoning. I am blaming the seafood salad I had at lunch yesterday. I was never so dizzy before in my life and minutes before we were going to head to the hospital I started throwing up
Long story short I laid on the couch next to my trusty bucket which came in handy a few more times my dizziness slowly easing to what is now a bad headache. I ate a few crackers and so far so good.
Bed rest sounds good to me today too.

There has to be another trip or else what in the world would we all do if we were currently planning our last trip - we'd be really clogging up the CRO lines with changes.I almost changed POR to Poly. I was on the phone making a YC payment, while she was doing that, I was pricing Poly--and when she asked if there was anything else I needed... I started to stutter... but said no thank you. I can do a lot with $612. Then I looked at OKW--but then again... I can do a lot with $434. DH really wants POR, so I should just leave it. There's always another trip

Well, to make a long decision short, I still can't get WL out of my mind. When I booked the May trip I checked, but at that time they didn't have any rooms with the military rate available.
On a whim, I called this morning just to see if there were rooms available for our dates next month. GUESS WHAT??? I was able to get the two rooms I needed.
I'm not going to tell my daughter and her fiance until the day before or so. I know they'll be so happy, will be fun to surprise them.
And the icing on the cake is we have courtyard views. I love, love, that view. It is just wonderful to open the doors to the patio and enjoy!
Ahhh...Wilderness Lodge. I'm coming home!

but I truly think this is the best resort for this trip with -- 2 hungry teen boys and my BFF, I think the POLY CL lounge is perfect home base for all of us! 
Home at 4am (thanks for the well wishes Kook) 3 hours at the dr.s before work. Up at 9am in charge, stayed late. Class tomorrow 
Day shift Sat & Sun.....will I ever catch up????

I have a severe phobia, and have been known to RC when a sighting comes out 
Yes, I'm aware that they're everywhere--but still I recall at least 4 sightings at POR--which is why I think I'm not 100% satisfied, lol. He knows how to push my buttons. He said that he's surprised we're not at CR.... to which I replied... if the discount was more than 5% we would totally be there. I should just be happy, and be sure to request "no mousekeeping" so that critters can't come in while they're cleaning. Ugh--I remember one TR where a frog was in a lady's makeup bag when she came back to the room

I told DH that I almost switched to Poly. He asked why I didn't. I told him the difference in $$, and because he wanted the Royal Rooms. He told me I did the right thing because there's probably snakes at the Poly
