The fall RC trip is not looking good.We just can not afford the BW and DH keeps bring up valid reasons to hold off until 2013. New car, for one

Welcome to the hottest month you could ever pick to go to Disney!
August is miserably HOT and HUMID - that's when I went with my kiddos every years.... but the absolute worst I've ever experienced was late September into early October. It was so much worse than August or July...and I never expected it! That year I went with my friend, who is a Florida native - she said it was typical for that time of year.
Thank goodness we were at GF and had a glorious view because we spent a few hours a day recuperating from the heat and humidity! 
In all seriousness, September was the absolute most miserable I've ever been in Disney. I couldn't tolerate the heat and humidity. My asthma was a MESS.
Sorry Christine....when my MIL decided she is coming with us in May, my DH decided she needed her own room....thus I switched my glorious Poly/RPC trip to SSR....not sitting well...I took the leftover $$$ and booked RPC for Sept...HRH ad DS3 birthay trip...just the 3 of us! Yesterday I changed to CR TPV CL, and today switched dates, to August 11th-15th (25% off) and changed BACK to RPC. All that they had was a Deluxe RPC King...let me restate all they had CL was KING RPC.....Call me confused!!

I am a resort changer.
I can't fight it. I can't deny it. My last change was probably a week ago, but I'm planning to change again today.
Started out with a plan for a split stay (already showing signs of waffling) between CSR and POP. Changed to WL with plans to add POP. Then, went for straight WL no split. Now planning to make a new reservation entirely today and change to AKL CL.
I still have one night uncovered, though, so my guess is I will probably make another.....change!
Just can't make up my mind! We're only 57 days out, too!

AKL pool is great, and CL in the summer....ahhhhh. How about WL CL.....
I was rooting for GF to come out the winner. I survived August twice what I recall most were a couple or torrential downpours more than the heat.
No more bedspreads - they're being replaced with duvet/comforters! I think our flagship resort, GF and Poly might be the only hold-out after September?
SEE, the cool kids with APs do go in August
WL is just overall a better fit for our family and our "Disney vacation style". The Poly is gorgeous but there so many things we'd be paying a "premium" for that we wouldn't even be using, and that just makes me
Maybe we'll stay there someday, when it's a better "fit".
I am hoping for better AP rates too....but it's all good! The trick will be affording airplane tix after our upcoming trip....nothing a little OT can't fix
I'd love to just go HRH and I, but as a favor to DH...I'll bring the little monster....HRH loves her little brother pas I like the change
Boo hoo, you won't be hitting up MNSSHP on the 30th with us, and I won't get to say hello to one of my favourite nurses/ RCer Peeps/ cyber friends!

I am about to make a doozy of a CRO call in a minute here. Big changes are due. Goodbye Poly! I guess I kinda feel BTDT... it is my happy place for sure but...
I have decided to take a page out of Pixarmom and padawans books and do a super-dooper split.
So far I am planning 3 nts YC-CL, 2 nts CR Atrium Club, 2 nights BWI CL and then end with 2 nts GF Sugarloaf. We have never stayed at any of these resorts so I'm excited to get a little sampling without commiting to a full trip somewhere new.
I am beyond excited and my DH even said that I sounded the happiest about this then any previous plans, so I think that's a sign!
I'm so nervous about the call that I may actually just book everything online and then call CRO to cancel my current ressie. I hope they don't throw stones at me
