What is the best and worst thing you have ever ordered from an infomercial???

The last thing I ordered were the emory board cat scratching things that are supposed to file your cars claws while they scratch on them. My cats won't come near them. :sad2: They prefer the cardboard ones from Wal Mart or the sisel ones.

didn't order online, got it at cvs after seeing infomercial. don't remember what it's called but it's for drains. there are two in a package. one for sinks and one for shower/bathtub. haven't used the shower/bathtub one yet but the sink one rocks. it's a plastic piece covered w.velcro on one end and a flexable tube on other end. man, that thing picks up the hair in the drain like no ones business.

OMG, I just bought these at Walgreens this weekend and they are the bomb! DD has long hair and the drains are always getting clogged. I hate to use chemical so this was just the trick.

I forget what it's called -- it's an "As Seen on TV" product, but I got it at Walgreen's -- they're these buttons that allow you to make the waist on pants/skirt looser or tighter. I have several pants that are little loose in the waist, so I love having the buttons to make it more snug. I'm sure they'd work really well for pregnant women, too -- when you're not quite ready for maternity clothes but you need the waist to be looser.

um...worst thing was the toothpaste squirter thing--- my kids were begging for it... but it was a piece of garbage...didn't work correctly and ended up falling off the wall and breaking

the hanging upside down tomato thingy. Did not work and I let DH order it, he doubled the order wound up costing me $80 bucks! :sad2:

Zumba DVDs. There is nothing wrong with them but the dust on them keeps mocking me.:rolleyes1

The last thing I ordered from the television was P90X and that was in Feb 2010. I have done four rounds of it and love it.

Did I get the results they show on tv. Not even close but I look and feel so much better.

Love, love, love my Magic Bullet. I've had it for a few years, and have totally gotten my money's worth out of it. :thumbsup2

I've been eyeing the Ninja lately - does anybody have any experience with it?

The worst? I don't remember what it was called, but it was a gadget that was supposed to help you make an onion into a Blooming Onion (like at The Outback) - didn't work at all .

The Peticure nail trimmer should work fine for trimming my bunny's nails, theoretically speaking. However, my rabbit is a spawn of Satan and will bite/scratch/poop/growl/thrash/kick as soon as you touch one of his toes with the trimmer. The damage done to my body and soul is not worth the effort, so I continue to take him to the vet where it takes 2 techs to hold him down for his monthly pedicure.

Got these from Walgreens...

the worst...a jar opener that broke the first time.

the best...Yoshi blade. Love that knife!

I haven't bought a lot of things from the TV, but the few I have bought have been mostly good.

Best - I can't remember the name of it, but it is the egg cracker thing. I LOVE that gadget.

I also bought the buttons to extend or make smaller (?) your pants. I do love those things, but the egg cracker is the best.

Worst - SEVERAL years ago, DH decided we should have the Scuncii steamer gadget. In his infinite wisdom, the day it came it, he filled it, plugged it in and decided he should try to iron my pajama shirt.....while I was still wearing it! His mother was there and when she heard me scream she came running. She smacked him REALLY hard on his head and called him a few choice names. We laugh about it now, but it wasn't funny then. The worst part about it was I had just recently had a surgical procedure on my heart and I was on blood thinners, so I was already bruising REALLY easy. DH was a deputy and I was a dispatcher at the Sheriff's Office. Too many people noticed these "injuries" and I guess the steam burn was the final straw and the domestic violence officer showed up at our door. We were PI**ED (we knew they were just doing their job and understood, but still, it was embarrassing). So, I guess it wasn't the manufacturers problem, but I HATED that gadget!

I love those!!

Being well endowed, I always hate wearing v-neck shirts because I feel that they are too low/go too low. I am always wearing a camisole under certain t-shirts, dresses, etc.

The other night I was in Target and they had an endcap of "As seen on TV products" what caught my eye was this package that had a picture on it that looked like it was a pack of thongs. I thought, "Whaaa" so I stopped and backed up.

It turns out the package was Cami Secrets or something like that. It's a triangular shped piece of fabric with lace trim at the top that you clip to your bra straps and it covers that v-neck area. Answer of my dreams!!!

I love them. I have always lamented that certain dresses I own need a "littl piece of fabric"

I've seen those but they all had lace on the tops. Do they have any that are straight without lace?

I bought the snake thing for the drains too-- got it in the store probably Walgreens- and love it. DD's hair gets clogged in her sink all the time and those things really work. They are kind of gross pulling the hair off the velcro though-- unless I am doing it wrong. :rolleyes1

No, it is really disgusting! I can't figure a way to get it off other than just pull, skeeves me out but better than clogged sinks!

I'm going to have to talk to DH about this drain thing. My hair is thick and healthy and just known for being everywhere. He'll love it, if it really does work!

I am so sorry as I know this is a serious thing but I just laughed my asterick off. I can't even finish reading the other posts because I just keep getting this mental image of you screaming, MIL smacking, and your DH with this "what did I do?" look on his face. :rotfl2:

DH bought this for our cat, and your right, its a piece of junk. My best As Seen on TV is the Perfect Brownie pan. You have to spray it with non-stick stuff, but its great because they cook faster, and they come out PERFECT! :worship:
