Have stayed at AS Movies twice now and really love the atmosphere. Planning a October 2003 vacation and are thinking of going to the Music this time. The price is the same and the availabilty is OK. Will we be disappointed seeing that Movies is newer? We have walked through before but never eaten there. WE like the Mighty Ducks building with a view of the quiet pool (must be non smoking). Anyone got a room recommendation at the AS Music?

I've only stayed at the All-Stars once, and it was at Music. We were in the Broadway Hotel #7, a corner room with courtyard view. The room was clean and looked to be in very good shape. Our room was non-smoking. I'll be staying at the All-Star Music again in a couple months, but just for one night (we are arriving very late, and I got an excellent deal for the night). :)

I've stayed at ASMu and ASSp, but never ASMo. I really liked ASMu the best!! Jazz is the closest to the food court without paying for a preferred room in Calypso. Broadway was a little further out, a little quieter and closer to the piano pool.

As far as food goes, it seems that the All Star food courts pretty much serve the same types of food.

Hope this helps!!! :p

We have stayed at both Movies and Music several times. We LOVE Movies and would stay there everytime if we could. Our next vacation will be at Music though because Movies wasn't available and I got a really good rate ($49) that wasn't offered at Movies anyway. Music is nice, but if you have kids and want they real magical Disney feel, Movies can't be beat.

Let me preface this by saying I do not have young children so this might make a difference, but I greatly prefer Music over either of the other All Stars. Music is quieter with less crowds and is in the middle of both so it is easy to walk to Sports or Movies to walk around, use the pool(which I never do but it is allowed since they are all "sister resorts") or eat at their food courts.
