Just found out that there are 11 confirmed cases of the swine flu in my school.
School eneded today, with exams spanning over the next 2 weeks.

Not even a letter has been sent home.

The school didn't even care that my sister had been exposed. My mom called the school up, told her about me possibly having swine flu and that I'd most likely gotten it from my sister, and they were like "well just keep them out of school". Never mind the fact that my sister HAD to get it from school to pass it on to me. This means there's other kids in that school who have/had swine and they're passing it along. I hate my school system.

I think my school is more concerned about "Bad publicity" being that they keep touting to the media about the Yale student their "producing."

VENT WARNING :

So I went home on thursday with a fever, went to the doctors and got some ammoxicilin for a "sinus infection". So I rest it up over the weekend taking it slow so I can come back to school (because its been kinda fun lately) when i noticed that my left ear was in SO MUCH pain, i mean... i had to check every 3 minutes to make sure my ear wasn't bleeding (it was pretty bad) and ive had multiple ear infections before...like...no big problem im used to them..but this hurt so bad it was like a shooting pain from my ear down to my throat. So i felt my neck and my gland was SWOLLEN it was like...sticking out of my neck. So...i went back to the doctors because although they said my glands were swollen...it was never this bad. SO i go back to the doctors on tuesday and they say "Oh yeah, have you had any rashes lately?" yes, really really bad hives. So they said "oh...well...i dont think your medication was strong enough...we will give you something else a bit stronger..but this may give you hives" (oh really, so like...the last medication can give me hives and its alright youll just make it stronger...one thats KNOWN for giving people hives?)

but I dont argue I just dont want to be sick anymore! So they specifically said "Your glands should not be swollen after a day or two of this medication"

and here it is almost FRIDAY. My body feels all achy, i cant go out into sunlight (haha, although i swear im not a vampire xD), my body is covered with hives in various locations....and i still have the swollen gland.

At least half my friends are out of school until next week. It's kinda annoying, since finals start next week. >:\
