As I anticipated yesterday.....

Yesterday was my birthday and dh DID NOT remember until the kids told him last night at 10 pm, then he comes out and tells me , oh BTW Happy Birthday! No card, no cake, no nothing. I didn't expect a present but at least a card. I guess I will have to get my own present at DISCON now!!

PS: My DIS friends familt remembered, this is what I call home!!

My birthday is next month.

I just bought my present from DH. I'll let him put it in a gift bag for me. He can't handle wrapping paper.

I know how you feel. Mine was 6/11. My daughter and I were having a moment so she was barely speaking to me. Her card still remains unopened. I did arrange the flowers she left on the counter because it wasn’t their fault I hated her boyfriend. (they are now broken up)

My son in college who I’ve sent a zillion dollars to – forgot till the next day.

My husband and I were so worried about our daughters loser boyfriend that he forgot and had some flowers sent – finally.

No cake, no card, no out to eat. I cried my heart out that night. The only one who knew was my husband, I couldn’t hold back any more.

My friends at work remembered. E cards, they sang and a co worker that I’m not close to remember to bring me cookies.

Sorry we’re in the same boat.

I won’t be at DIS CON but I will be in WDW at the same time. Let’s meet at the nearest jewlery counter!

We almost share a birthday (I'm August 12th) and we almost share a husband mine forgot too.

I got a card the NEXT day, and no mention of gift, wanna go out? NOTHING. *sigh*

But some of my DIS friends remembered as well, and that was so sweet.

Sorry your husband forgot your birthday. Mine almost forgot my bday. He didn't call until on his way home from work about 5:45pm. I didn't get a single birthday card this year

So sorry your DH forgot yours. On mine this year, my dear forgot to say anything to me until I got mad and "reminded" him as I left for work. Only one of my friends at work remembered. My dad was out of the country so he couldn't even call. When I got home from work instead of celebrating DH and I got in a fight instead. I wound up going out myself and getting dinner for myself. I'm hoping next year will be better for all of us who had forgotten birthdays this year... although I should be at WDW then too... did I ever mention how much I love Uptown Jewelers?

Are we married to the same person? Unfortunately, my DH's family treats all birthdays that way. After 28 years, it still has not changed. I stopped mentioning his birthday years ago, however, DD and DS always have a special day. They always remember mine.
