As electronics get smaller and smaller

how do you keep from losing them?

I am currently searching for my new Ipod. That thing is so small if I dont put it back in its bag right away I cant find it at all.

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to keep better track of these little things?

I agree, as a parent of kids with Nintendo DS games, where the games are little tiny memory stick size things...we are looking for several...I have found them in the laundry, in pockets of clothes that were packed away, wedged in between the mattress and bedframe, couch cushions, you name it!

Ipods haven't been lost yet, but at least those aren't in pieces...

I have no idea.

But, if you happen to find my blue tooth headset...It's been missing since Sept. I know it's in the house SOMEWHERE! I took it out of my purse before vacation so I wouldn't lose it. Um, yeah, that worked out for me...

I know that one of the kids that. If DH had done it it would have been in the garage, thats where things go to die.



Sorry no luck with the blue tooth, Ill keep my eye out though.

ah yes, those are the worst...they're TINY!!!

I solved the key issue at least. I found this thing

at a yard sale for $3. NIB

It works great for the keys but everything else is too small to put one of those fobs on. I mean, how are you supposed to walk around with that thing hanging down from your glasses? If you take enough time to put it on every time you take your glasses off then you are organized enough to out them some place you can remember!

I've "lost" my ipod a few times...the thing is, I have a set place to put it, and I always put it in the right place, but then I forget where I put it!!!


Such times call for fancy label makers.

DH and I always keep our MP3's in the same place, either by the computer or in a bowl I have for just such things in the kitchen/dining area. DD though can never find hers because she never puts it in the same place twice, so we are always looking for it each time she wants it. She is the same way with her phone. I usually remind her each time if she would just put it where we do she would always know where it is, but you know teenagers.

For her Game Boy games, I found a clear plastic zippered purse and she keeps everything in there... the game, charger and the games themselves. Makes it very handy to keep together and take places.
