I was just placing my first order with them and after entering my credit card info, I got a screen saying that I need to verify my credit card info.

The name of my bank came up along with the questions asking for the last 4 digits of my SS#, my date of birth and my mother's maiden name.

To me, these are all signs of fraud.

For those that have used this company before, do you have to enter this information?

I exited without entering anything else.

Sounds shady to me. I could see it asking for the 3 digit security code on the back of your cc card, but not the info they are asking for.

Smart move getting out...

The only orders I have gotten from them were free. I have never paid for anything. But I don't think I will be paying either if they want all of that info!!!

I've only ordered once with them, but I never got those questions. With that information they can wipe out most of your accounts.

Sounds like it was trying to sign you up for visa verified. It's a safety feature from visa and is legit. Here's the link.
https://usa.visa.com/personal/security/vbv/index.jsp

There should be a place on the page to cancel if you do not want to verify

The window that popped up did say that it was to verify but if you choose not to, the order will be canceled.

I'm not willing to risk it all for a few cheap makeup cases.

This is the message that I got

Enrollment Required For This Purchase.

When I clicked on the "more information" link a window popped up saying...

and listed the phone# for my bank.

I'm going to call the bank in a few minutes and see what they can tell me.

Thanks for the replies.

I spoke with my bank and they do say that it's legit. I was able to register through my bank's site so it makes me feel a bit more secure.

This is what I did too. I thought the message was pretty shady so I signed up through my bank instead, then went back to redo the purchase. Made me feel much more comfortable.

I have ordered quite a few items from them, and I always use Paypal.

I've ordered many times from them. If your signed up now they will not ask you again. Love thier products and great deals

I just placed my 1st order with them for the make-up cases for Christmas gifts... For the $8 I just used paypal... :)

I always use paypal with them. Love the site I have gotten so much from them for nothing or next to nothing. Only thing that sucks is the long long delivery time. Love all the coupons I get from them. I signed up with them years ago and got something like 1000 free prints LOVE them
