Art's Shuttle?

I was just hoping to get some feedback on this shuttle service. They seem to be the least expensive near the Port, but I had seen in another thread that someone had a bad experience with them. They are the shuttle service that some, if not most, of the Port area hotels use. I do not wish to have any time restrictions (the website says service is available 24/7, but the other feedback I read said policy was they didn't take you to the Disney Port until after noon).

I wonder if you set a specific time to be picked up, or is it a "once every half hour" type thing? How are the drivers? Any information/feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)

From musicgirl on another post:

Personally, we take a taxi to the port. Here's why:
-Art's is the main shuttle in the area and they will not pick you up until 12. Now maybe this has changed, but I don't think so. The terminal opens around 10:30 and last time we boarded around 11:30. Art's told me they don't allow anyone in until 12. Ummmmmmm?????

I'm not personally familiar with them, but....

We used Art's back in '03, and if I remember correctly, they picked us up from the Doubletree Cocoa Beach at like 10-ish I think...then from there, we picked up from other hotels on the "route" to the port. We ended up getting to the port at around 11 or so. The service was great and friendly, and the driver handled all of the baggage into and out of the van for us. If you are looking to get to the port earlier, though, you should consider a taxi maybe.

But we liked them and would use them again.

Personally, I would not use them again...We have used them twice, and they forgot to pick us up at the airport BOTH times..Remember, that is just us..They were very nice about it, but we were SO tired, and with all the little ones. SO, we gave them the benefit of the doubt, and twice it happened..

Last cruise we used Murray Hill transportation, and we were a party of 11 and we arrived at 11 pm, and they were right there waiting with a HUGE sign, and i was SO happy...

We also had this during Hurricane Jeanne, and they were amazing with us, we had all their cell phone numbers, and they even offered us to stay at their homes....ALl in all, this is one amazing company, and very affordable..

www.transportation2disney.com is the website

We used Art's last year from airport to our hotel at the port. It was very reasonable, $110 round trip I believe. They were prompt and friendly. I would use them again for that portion of our trip,

One of my quotes was mentioned earlier. I would not use them for a shuttle to the port.

I think Christal may have gotten lucky like we did in June 2003. But that was only after I put up a fuss with the Marriott who had promised me an early pick up as part of our cruise deal.

When I called last year to book our airport to hotel portion, I spoke directly with Art's Shuttle. I asked about getting picked up by their shuttle to the port and if they would pick us up early. I figured maybe they would since we would be using them for the roundtrip portion.

Boy was I wrong!!!! That is when they told me they didn't pick up until 12 because the port would not let people in until then.

If you are counting on an early pick up, don't use them. Call a taxi.
