Artists Pallette at SS

What are your thoughts on the Artists Pallette at Saratoga Springs? I have a couple of days that we won't be in any parks and am looking for some counter service suggestions.

Can't help with that question, but SS is right next to Downtown Disney and I highly recommend Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich.

SSR is our home resort and I would not make a special trip for it - Lovely decor - food - blech!

I LOVE the PP's suggestion for DTD and Wolfgang Puck Express - near the bus stop also and our very favorite and bang-for-the-buck CS.

Extremely disappointing. I got an opportunity to stay at SSR this year; didn't realize the food court was so barren because most people cook in their room at DVC resorts.

We took the water taxi to POR a few mornings to use my fav food court; and then we did WP's Express the rest of the mornings.......

As a matter of fact, as we were leaving on Saturday (the 5th), we decided to use our last three TS credits left over (thought our one character meals was 2TS, but it was only 1 TS) and have lunch at the Turf Club - very, very good. But they were running out some very unhappy people from the breakfast/early lunch crowd from Artist's Palatte that were allowed to spill out into the Turf Club. The only thing I can figure is that a lot of people took the upgrade (it seemed to be the only one available from the mods to deluxe on the 4/3 package that made sense) and the resort must have been overwhelmed by the amount of people checking in and using counter service that day. At noon, they opened up the Turf Club and a very, very upset mother with four children, who had not finished their CS meal from Animator's Palate were being scurried out. She refused to leave and asked for the manager. He came over and allowed them to stay until the Turf Club got really busy.

While it has been a couple of years since we have eaten, I often think about the homemade potato chips that they serve fondly! The sandwiches are good esp. the steak one but bfast isn't anything that special. If you are staying there, it is good food but I wouldn't make a special trip there.

"Eh" would be the highest rating I'd give it.
As others have mentioned, with DTD right near, you have much better CS options, in the Marketplace, PI (Cooke's of Dublin), and on the West Side.
