Just back from a wonderful vacay last week. And another incredible meal at Artist Point.

My two sisters and I had the mushroom soup (still heaven in a bowl), and we had for our entrees - the beef filet, the scallops, and the salmon. Accompaniments were plentiful and delicious. The bread was delicious as well. Service was good. We did not get dessert as there was no room in the inn.:upsidedow

The waitress informed me that the "sets" (their term for what comes with each entree) can be interchanged between the entrees. For example, if you like the accompaniments that come with the chicken, but you ordered the beef, then you can have the chicken set with your beef. I thought that was nice.

I wish I had taken a pic of the menu, but forgot to. I thought the menu was very creative and not dumbed down as can be the case sometimes. And there seemed to be many options.

Give this restaurant a try if you haven't, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. ::yes::

This is also true at just about all the other WDW restaurants.

Glad you enjoyed AP. Its been a while since we've been there. Must get back.

Have to agree.

We booked it for Christmas dinner last year and were very nervous when a certain Disney food blog gave it less-than-stellar reviews. We're Narcoossee's die-hards, so we were afraid we made a mistake by straying from the normal deviation. Nope. We absolutely loved our meals. The soup is worth the trip alone. The bison was cooked PERFECTLY. Because bison isn't fatty, it's easy to dry out. The server knew this and informed my sister when she ordered it well done. The root vegetables were so good and the dessert was unexpectedly delicious.

Totally recommend it. I think we may return to Narcoossee's this year - just to keep it fresh.

My sister tried the soup for the first time. She honestly couldn't believe how delicious it was. She just looked at me in amazement. I have the recipe, but it is quite the production for that little bowl of soup, so I don't think I'll be making it any time soon.

My other favorite on property is Flying Fish. I will be interested to see what becomes of it with the re-do.

Yeah it's pretty insanely good. I have a smoker and I've considered trying it. While I'm good at cooking, I have this thing about trying Disney recipes. Nothing is ever as good as the real thing - probably because it's not in Disney.

We were timid - we're not big "rustic food" people but this place was great!

That soup is INCREDIBLE. Now I'm hungry!! We're planning to book Artist Point again on our December visit when we stop by to check out the WL decor.
Glad you had a great experience!!
