Artist Point is in our top two (with CA Grill) and it's so worth it! First of all, it's beautiful. The first time we went, we took the boat from MK and it was half raining-half sunny, and the sun was setting. A beautiful way to see the Wilderness Lodge for the first time.
The food/wine is amazing. We did the 4-course Prix Fixe, which is pretty great, and we also did the wine flight. My DH had the Salmon, and I had the Buffalo Steak - it was all terrific, but I would walk through fire for that Smoky Portobello Soup.
We really ate too much when we were there and had to sit in the lobby at the fireplace before we were able to go back to the Dolphin! This time out, we'll be taking it easier, and perhaps just getting a single glass of wine.
Dress-wise, they say 'business-casual'. Basically, it's no tank-tops or anything else you'd be self-conscious about wearing in a nice restaurant. You can always bring other clothes for the park and get a locker...
We'll be there next month, and I can't wait to go back to Artist Point. You'll love it!!!
