Artist Point or Narcoossee's?

We attend both, twice per year- 12 years. Currently, as of 11-2016?

Narcoossee's, if you can only do one.

Narcoosees is always the best meal we have at WDW world, hands down. Here's some pictures of our meal from this past August;

DH says the steak was amazing, as good as the one he gets at le collier;

For us, it's always our best meal and dining experience.

We'll be at the Poly pool all day and were thinking about something in the MK area resorts.
Narcoossee's would be the easier one to get to from the Poly. We've eaten at both and have had better food at Artist Point.

I vote for Artist Point. We've eaten there four times and it has been consistently outstanding. I also love the atmosphere in the restaurant - very subdued and relaxing - plus visiting WL for the evening. We've, unfortunately, had two very expensive, very bad meals at Narcoosee's so I can't recommend it. I also find the restaurant to be very loud.
We love the quiet atmosphere at AP. We were surprised to find how loud and busy Narcoossee's was. I guess that I assumed that all signature restaurants would be "classier" than a regular restaurant.

View attachment 229601 Artist Point- above Halibut roasted tomato risotto and baby bok choy. Was outstanding. $42
Narcooses- below famous "Whole 2 lb Lobster" potatoes broccolini. It was ridiculous, I genuinely laughed when I asked are you sure this is the right meal? Seriously paid $70 for this. View attachment 229602 Artist Point. We eat there every trip and it has been consistently good. We have always had great service and meals here.
Narcoosees was disappointing. Waiter could have cared less, and the food was just eh. The view from a window side table is great, for fireworks and castle viewing, until people sit and stand on the deck directly in front of your table, however.

Wow. My plate looked a lot more appetizing than that. Someone really threw that together.

Yeah my lobster looked like yours. And the almond cheesecake is one of the best things I have ever eaten.

I've done both and both times I've done Narcoossees it's been excellent. AP not so much. Not awful but for the price, the entress were pretty bland and tasteless. There was nothing that stood out except for the cobbler, which you can also get in the lounge. We even stayed at WL last December and didn't even do AP. We did Jiko and FF and they were excellent! IMO, there are just better options for the money. For the most part, I generally try to do signatures closer to where I'm staying just because it's easier to get to and you don't have to rush. This year it will be AKV and BWV so Jiko and FF are both back again on my list with the only exception being I may try Citricos this time around. Can't wait!:love:

Masonmj84, with all those Sigs under your belt, would love it if you would share which were favorites. It seems like so many reviews are not very current, and places we've loved in the past may not be the same now, what with lots of menu changes and just changes in general. Which were "hits" for you on this trip? (And I apologize to the OP for going off topic!)

On the dining reviews thread, I've posted a summary of our dining experiences.

We went to Narcoosee's twice on our last trip! I had scallops the first time and it was really good but had the twin lobster tails the second and it was dreamy. I was a bit unimpressed by the sound of the accompaniments but the soufflé thing was fabulous.

Of those two, I'd go with Artist Point. It's a family favorite. We ate there for my birthday in December and it was as good as it always has been for us. I've had two experiences at Narcoosee's in the past, and neither was very good. And I agree with others, it's loud and I found it to be pretty crowded.

That said, if it was me, I'd probably hop a bus to Disney Spring and try something new there. I did a lobster roll at the Boathouse out on the outside deck, and it was yummy! But I'd also like to try Homecoming, etc.

I've never gone to Narcoosee's and found it noisy at all. Of course, I never went between the hours of 5:00 - 7:00 pm though but a bit later. I found it very relaxing and we even got to see Wishes from there both times. Very memorable evening! Artist Point was OK but we also went a bit later and didn't have a great table and it was pretty dead in there. While attractive, to me it lacks the ambiance of some of the other Signatures.
