Can a dinner for 4 adults at either Artist Point or Citricos be completed in an hour & a half? I was able to get the Tomorrowland Dessert party as a suprise for our second night and our ressie is at 7:05pm. Am wondering if we had a 5:30pm adr at either restaurant, if we would be done in enough time to get to the dessert party on time.

Yes, these can be done in that time. When you are seated, let your server know that you are under time pressure and they will move things along as quickly as they can.

No. You could be out of the restaurant in an hour and a half but that still wouldn't leave you enough time to get back to the Magic Kingdom. You'd really need the meal to take an hour or less to be back in time for the party (and even that would be cutting it pretty tight) and signature dining experiences are meant to be more leisurely than that.

Good point about the travel time. I didn't read the whole post and thought the OP had until 8 to make it to the desert party. I'd try it a different day.

Not to mention the fact that the Dessert Party is pretty much a meal in itself. The Dessert Party is best done following a late afternoon TS lunch or a VERY early dinner IF the party does not start until 9 pm or later. Basically, you need at least 3-4 hours from the end of your last meal until the start of the Party, or your stomach will be most unhappy.

And remember that there is no such thing as a 7:05 Dessert Party. No matter what silly staggered time the reservation system gave you, the Party starts for all participants 1 hour before Wishes. If Wishes is at 8 your Party will start at 7 and you should get there around 6:45 to check in. If Wishes is not until 9 then your Party starts at 8 and being there a full hour early is nothing but a waste of time. Tables are assigned as reservations are made, not when parties check in.

1) No.
. . . tight to order and eat, you would gobble down a good meal
. . . plus, you have not considered travel time
2) Plus, dessert party right after dinner is a bad choice.
3) All-in-all, try a diferent plan.

After a meal like that you couldn't follow it up with all those desserts at the party. It would be a total waste of money. Do one or the other but not both on the same night.
