Artist Point Mushroom Soup Changed Recipe?

We just got back from WDW. We ate at Artist Point as always and were disappointed with the mushroom soup. It has always been great until now. I know they changed the recipe to vegan some time back. But now they tell me the soup is gluten free too. The recipes I can find show them using a roux, but that contains flower. Does anyone know if they took out the roux or what else they did to it and when?

I have no idea if or how they changed the recipe but you can make a roux with gluten free flour - I do it all the time and honestly can't tell any difference. Bummer if the soup isn't as good as it used to be - it's been years since we ate at Artist Point but I still remember how good the mushroom soup was.

I would be so disappointed if I went back to AP and didn’t get their fabulous mushroom soup.
