DH, DSis, DBil and me all took the boat from BLT to the WL for a great dinner last Wed, 6/26 at Artist Point.
Let just say we did it up and DHubby credit card took a major hit ....the next night we made pizza in the villa for dinner.....
Our server was Riccardo....he was great.....very helpful with the wine list and menu..
We originally were brought to a 1/2 booth by the kitchen. DBil and myself looked at the table and then each other...and then asked for a regular table.
No problem.....we were moved to the middle of the restaurant...a nice 4 top ....and then eating began...
Water....delicious Sourdough Bread served with truffle butter and a seasoned oil oil dip......tasty...
With Riccardo help we tasted a couple of wines .....the Wine List is California and Oregon Wines, so we were not familiar with them. You can taste wines if sold by the glass.
Appetizers.....DBIL and me shared the Artisan Cheeses, he also had to the Portabello Soup and me the Salad....with delicious fresh figs...loved it...Sister also got the salad. My DH got the Confit Natural Bacon....he loved it....
Main courses .....Dh and me got the Buffalo Steak....delicious...at first the piece did not look that big but it was really huge once I started eating it......DBIL had the Cedar Plank Salmon....and DSis had the Halibit.......they both loved their dishes....
Salmon came with Short Rib spring rolls....delicious and the Halbit had crab dumplings with them.....the menu is not the same that is online. They change the side dishes it seems...to go with fresh ingredient tha t have ...plus to change it up a little.
I do not know how we managed dessert ... But we did 3 of had their signature Berry Cobbler with berry ice cream....what my DBIL had is not on the menu....it was a dark round cake....mocha taste...delicious with a custard type item which was unbelievable with it......
The plating is beautiful.....presentation very nice ....Salamon is brought out on the Cedar Plank and presented and then plated.
The dinner was relaxing and memorable.....this is my DHubsand's favorite place....we will be back....
