Artificial Flowers?

Is it possible to have artificial flowers instead of fresh for a Disney wedding? I have allergies and real flowers will not be a good thing.

There was a bride who had a beautiful wedding with a peacock feather bouquet. There are also have been some who brought their own artificial bouquets- that were so life like I really had to look very closely at the pictures! If I didnt have an Escape I would have considered it- you wouldnt have to pay keepsake floral 700-800 dollars and your flowers would look just as nice as the day you walked down the isle!

There were a few different types, silk, wooden and some artificial material that looks life like- I will try to look for the post i read about them!

Disney has made many artificial bouquets. The price may be a little higher than fresh, but, as Wish On A Star said, you can keep it forever!

I used silks from Disney and we had an escape wedding. I wanted a larger bouquet with silks and crystal mickeys and my total upgrade cost was $75 if I remember correctly. Well worth it and much less than preservation !

Preservation is soo expensive but I want real flowers for that day...sigh...maybe disney can make me an artificial bouquet after. lol

I'm having artificial at mine 12/5/09. I was crafty and had time on my hands, so I even made them myself! Saves a bundle vs. real.

Disney also lets you substitute the floral included.... so just ask

Thank you for your pictures and input. I think I will pay the upgrade for the silk flowers and then I am not sneezy and get to keep them forever (never even thought of that plus)

We had artificial flowers at our wedding due to cost. I love calla lilies and were not able to afford $8 a stem for them. I went to walmart to see if I could find artificial ones and they were cheaper at $4 a stem. I did a bit of reasearch and foud the whole saler and was able to purchase them at $1 per stem. I was able to get all of my flowers for the wedding and the at home reception center pieces for $225. I think they came out great. We recieved a lot of compliments on them. You can have exactly what you want sometimes you might just have to dig around a little bit to make it work
