Our daughter and her friends are in their first post grad apartment and are trying to find a tall artificial tree on a budget. Does anyone know of good sales happening now or soon? Thanks in advance for any help!

I just got one at Target last week it's a 7 ft unlit skinny tree (perfect for apartment) it was reg $60 but on sale for $48 and i got free two day shipping. They charge extra for the pre-lit trees but I prefer unlit because I've had issues with the lights on the pre-lit ones before.

My son picked one up at Target in Nashville for $20 on Saturday. It's six and one half feet and not pre-lit.

Clearly won't help you for this year, but I find the best deals on trees/lights/etc. AFTER the holiday since most stores want to get rid of their remaining Christmas items once the holiday is over.

I would try Facebook Marketplace. Maybe skip the tree this year and focus on other decorations that they gather up from friends and family. I got most of my first decorations by raiding my Mom's boxes for things she wasn't using. :)

I just bought a 4ft. pre-lit from Michael's for $20. They had a bunch of others as well!

I was just in Michaels, looks like they are having a 50% off sale - and they have a 20% off everything, even sale - so you might be able to get a good deal there.
I bought a pencil tree from them last month, at 50% off thinking that was a decent deal. Now I wish I had waited! Oh well -
