Going and coming. Word has it that the FedEx logo has finally come down from Space Mountain and the pre-show video that played for those waiting for the ride has been turned off.

Over in Epcot, Wonders of China, the 360-degree film that premiered when the Disney attraction opened more than 20 years ago, is being replaced by a new and improved version.

Director Jeff Blythe, who produced the all-encompassing feature, notes that the original film showed "people dressed mostly in blue and gray. It's much more colorful today. Young people are taller, happier and healthier."

But more than dated clothing and better bodies, the squawking from the Chinese government describing the old work as "uglifying China" led to the revision.

So what is playing at Space Mountain to replace the Fed Ex audio?

You know, the way the fast pass line works at space mt. they cue the stand by line outside "the big room" in the "hallway," and merge the fast pass and stand by line right in front of that control room looking thing, so that there is never a line cueing "inside." I remember thinking the last few times that I rode it that there was no need for the movies, because no one is cueing in their - it is almost silly for them to be playing away where no one will see them.

I wonder if the outer space paleotologist (sic) is still beaming a bone back home to his dog without the help of FEDEX-

I had always heard rumors that UPS was ready, willing and able to step up when FedEx left.
So far I haven't heard UPS taking over, or any inclination to.
Anyone hear of a replacement for FedEx?

UPS, eh? As long as they don't paint the outside of Space Mountain brown.

But perhaps they would require the male CMs that work Space to wear those nice tight shorts......... hahahaha.

I went to an all girls high school, and we used to go nuts when there was a UPS delivery.........
