Arthritis?

I think my arthritis is acting up Gawd I feel old saying that...lol

When I was a teenager, I was diagnosed with rheumthoid(sp) arthritis in my hands... and only these past few months tho, have I had what I think is a flare-up. It hurts to bend my fingers...and it's like I dont have strength to grasp anything... It happens when the weather changes....
Like, now...the actual finger bone hurts between my knuckle and the bend in my fingers... Just pain to close or extend... just a dull ache any other time....
I'm guessing it's back?

I am sorry to here about your pain.

A trip to your Physician or Rheumatologist is in order, things have come a long way in the management of Rheumatoid Arthritis in the last 5 years. There are more potent DMAs ( disease modifying agents) with very acceptable risk/benefit ratios around these days.

Also even the basic analgesics and NSAIDS ( non steroidal antiinflammatory drugs) have had improvements.

I hope things improve for you, chronic pain can be a real downer on the spirits.
